I could rave on and on about this place but will just say that the food here is scrumptious and impressive. The menu lacks nothing and the staff are super friendly and prompt.

Nice place with nice decor and nice food. Nepalese is nice and filling and tasty too. The customer service is what you expect, nothing exceptional, but they take your order, bring you food and answer your requests as best they can.

This place is always an option to consider on Brunswick street.

So nothing special to write about for me. I like that it is BYO. On a busy night, you are squashed up amongst other diners. We brought our drinks in but we had to ask for them to put them in the fridge. The food itself was very mediocre. I'm a big fan of nepalese food and this place had been recommended. I had one of their chicken dishes and unfortunately it was rather bland. I wouldn't write them off too soon though as it's a popular spot and maybe I just got a dud. They do takeaway too.

I was actually rather disappointed by my visit here. My companion and I ordered a starter and two main meals. The starter took forever to arrive, but was tasty and fresh when it did, which was nice. The butter chicken that was ordered was quite lovely, but the other meal - a noodle dish - was *incredibly* disappointing. It tasted as if the vegetables came from one of those frozen packs you buy at the supermarket, and the sauce tasted as if it came out of a jar. It was incredibly, incredibly average, especially considering how long it took to arrive. Perhaps it was just a bad night, but after that? I would hesitate to order anything but curries from this place again.

I've never had Nepalese food so I wasn't sure what to expect. We ordered 2 entrees and 2 mains to share amongst 3 of us. The Himalayan bread and the dip was to die for!!!!!!! highly recommended!!!!!! The bread was served nice and hot and so soft, and the dip was tasted very special (unlike any other dip I've ever had). The beef entrée was good too and decent size. The mains were disappointingly bland, especially the noodles, and the curry were ok - could be more flavoursome.

I really like this place. I like it most for the al\tmosphere. Always busy and crowded but nice. Its BYO which is also a bonus. The room at the back its more intimate and private, maybe best for couples and its quite cool you can sit on cushions. The food is quick to come out and the serving sizes are decent. The curries are great and full of flavor. Excellent vego range too.

Approximate cost: $15-20

I went here recently for a group dinner and I really loved the place, it has such a great theme and atmosphere. The food was like Indian but more flavor some and not spicy. I would love to go here again.
