During the school holidays, Hippo's House is my saviour! There is lots of equipment and play area for children of all ages - just remember to bring a pair of socks so you don't have to buy them when you get there!! The cafe caters to both children and adults, the kids meals are a big hit... and plenty of caffeine options for Mum and Dad :). Entry is very reasonably priced and is untimed; prices start from around $7.50 (graded by age), and they often have some good special offers and events on over the school holidays. Birthday parties here are great fun for the kids and well organised.
Only drawback? You may leave with hearing loss and lingering aromas - it can get very loud, and very sweaty in there! But that is all the more proof that the children have a great time there!

I have visited this place on a number of occasions. It is a great place where I could meet some other mums for a play date with other kids. As a mother of a little boy with autism, I found this place really fantastic and a safe environment for my boy to actually play, yell, roll around and have the time of his life. The fact that I actually get a coffee and a treat if I'd like while having a chat is priceless.

Approximate cost: $14.00

Not a bad place to take the kids to let them run around and have a play and have a bite to eat. All facilities are good and staff are friendly. Food and coffee are of average quality most of the time.

i had my son's birthday party at this venue and found the staff very easy to work with and very accommodating. Its a great indoor play facility and has a cafe inside as well. The cafe provides good food at very reasonable prices. From the minute we arrived until the party was over we barely saw any of the children as they were having so much fun. There is a separate playground for the younger children as well. We stayed well past the finishing time of the party and this was not a problem. The price per head included lunch, drinks, chips, lollies and a lolly bag for the children to take home with a voucher for a return visit. The owners were great to deal with making my childs birthday party very stress free to organise. The kids all slept very well that night!

We were looking for ways to give our toddler and baby learning and growing experiences during my husband's uni break, and hippo house was exactly that. Our toddler had a blast and didn't stop running and playing despite how tired he got. There was something there for every age so even our little baby got to play with new toys. The big slide is fantastic. The environment was as kidproof and safe as play equipment can be made.

Approximate cost: $7 per child

Great place for the kids to work off energy, especially on rainy days !! Huge warehouse full of tunnels/slides/ball pits... caters for all ages 1 and up. Prices start on only $7.50 and the cafe is amazing. It is a great place to meet up and have a coffee with friends while keeping the kids amused :)

excellent play centre offering birthday parties, food for children and adults. they have enough room and play equipment for children up to age 12. They have clean bathrooms and an airconditioned area for parents.

I regularly take my two boys here and they always have a great time. The equipment is clean an maintained fairly regularly but the seating area and toilets are a little dated. It is in a big shed so the atmosphere is understandably a little drab but the main thing is that the children have a safe play area to run around in. Good meals are available for adults and kids and the staff are friendly tho at times seem understaffed so can be a little rushed.
