I had a very disappointing experience with this company. They lost my pram stuff, and what's even more frustrating is their lack of responsibility.

Despite contacting their customer service multiple times and providing all the necessary information, they failed to resolve the issue or offer any compensation for the loss. This kind of negligence is completely unacceptable.

I would strongly advise anyone considering using this company to think twice. Their inability to take responsibility for their mistakes is a major concern. Hopefully, they can learn from their shortcomings and improve their customer service in the future.

This team are problem solvers who quickly answered my request for hire - on the spot.

It made my trip as a solo mom so easy and the gear was top class and super clean.

When she collected the car capsule at the end of the hire, she was so willing to help me with some baby equipment at home that I'd had a few troubles with. I would definitely recommend her to anyone looking to hire equipment.

Terrible service hire for baby Flemington. Do not return calls. Postpone visits. Gave us an unsafe seat and took 2 weeks to change it. And now have been over 2 months to collect the seat at the end of our hire. Because of course we want to store the car seat here for you.

Hire For Baby Gold Coast - TERRIBLE. Shocking customer service, rude personnel and phone always goes to answerphone.

I have always used Hire for Baby in other states and they are fantastic, but the Gold Coast branch is seriously not worth the stress.

There are plenty of baby hire places on the Gold Coast, go elsewhere, they are lovely to deal with and value their customers.

im useless at putting things together without a male around as a single mum i really struggled when it came to my newborn's furniture,i chose this service and was completly satisfied with the results of capsule hire to a bigger seat once bub grew and the good thing was its not another thing i have stored away to get rid of once bub grows up

I have used Hire for Baby twice and both times have recieved exceptional service. I had my car seat installed and hired a capsule for my second car from the Mernda location. The seats were installed by Toni on a day with sweltering temperatures, all with a friendly smile and great humour. I felt confident that they were installed safely, and appreciated the extra time taken to answer my questions. I hired a dual pump from the Flemington Hire for Baby and it was delivered next day - again the customer service from Belinda has been great. I was able to extend the rental easily. I would recommend either Mernda or Flemington based on my experience

Hirer in Cairns is terrible with her service (not serious about her business) doesnt answer or return calls, always have to call back and if you are lucky she will pick up the phone.

Unreasonable person - when wanted to return the equipment I was charged late fees WHAT FOR -- Not picking up her phone when called several times before the return date??
As due to flight timing I could be late by 30 mins to an hour and so as a responsible person I wanted to return day before or slightly late...
Instead of understanding she charged extra and not even sorry for "not picking up the phone or sending a message"

Most horrendous service I received. Damaging company's reputation

Filled in the online booking form for getting car seats at Melbourne airport, twice, no response or acknowldegement.
Rang twice; got voice mail.
Emailed the Melbourne north and general info address; no response. I felt I felt i should just have used the hire cars seats.
Searched and found another site. Filled in booking form for ' justtakethekids' instant acknowledgement and follow up email within a day.

The concept of this business if quite good, but in South Australia many of the representatives are mum's working from home which I don't have an issue with. Its just in my dealings found that booking an appointment to get a car seat installed for our new baby frustrating. It took a long time to get in, and the women would not work at all over the school holidays. I ended up going elsewhere as they were not flexible enough.

The quality of the equipment we hired was exceptional. All in perfect condition and cleanliness. All items were delivered and waiting for us. When the car hire company we used made the drop off difficult, the team came and met us at the airport on Sunday morning to help us out with no trouble at all. They even helped us unpack two cars, 4 kids and went and found us a trolley for our luggage...now THAT's great customer service!

I am beyond happy with Hire for Baby's service. The installation of the car seat into our hire car was first class! There is no way that seat could move (and I tried really hard). Thank you for helping us at short notice too :) (also hired a pram with the car seat)

I have used Hire for Baby two times in 2011 to hire car seats for my children. We live overseas and when we venture into Melbourne (sometimes at short notice), it is not always convenient to borrow car seats as we previously did. So thank you Hire for baby, for making our experience such an easy transaction, and to be able to have them delivered to our door at short notice is extremely convenient. The service is fast and top notch and the car seats are extremely well kept. I look forward to hiring again from you in the future when we visit Melbourne on our next trip.

I just hired a baby car capsule from Sharon at Hire For Baby (Brisbane North). She was very helpful in instructing how to install it, as well as answering any other questions I had. The capsule is brand new and I believe it is good value for money at $99 for 6 months for a Baby Love capsule which is one of the more popular models.

Great for hiring cots ect when traveling. Really good value, not time consuming to get the products and they are at very hig qulaity.

I have loved the experience of hiring baby equipment from Hire for Baby. From beginning to end they provide excellent service and a quality product.

We used 'Hire for Baby' to install our own baby car seats and the owner was very friendly and knowledgeable. He gave us great advice on everything from when to adjust shoulder straps to different types of baby seats even though we weren't going to be making a purchase of him. Very reasonable cost to have peace of ind and would recommend.

I needed some baby equipment for family visiting from overseas and contacted HFB for a quote after an internet search. Everything about our experience with them was terrific - very helpful in identifying which equipment we would need, delivery and installation (car seat) on time, equipment great quality, new and clean, everything just worked. And great value for money (extended hire of over 3 weeks) and very reasonable delivery/pickup charge. It made it all so much easier because they were so reliable.

I forgot to let them know my pickup and drop off locations were different after I'd already picked my gear up, but they were very accommodating when I did let them know. I found it a little difficult to reach them on the road as I didn't have email access and they didn't answer their mobile. We played phone tag for a while, but it all worked out well.

This place is really handy, i found they had almost anything you could need when you have a young child. friendly staff and the products are good quality.

I hired a capsule from Hire for Baby in Canberra and the experience was pretty average. The capsule itself was in pretty good condition. It was a little older than I expected but was clean. The biggest issues were that the capsule wasn't fitted correctly and that I found out afterwards that there are cheaper capsule hire options in Canberra.

I hired a capsule for a weekend from Vermont. Their service was as to be expected, the product was fine. Nothing stand out but I would use them again.

We hired a number of items from Hire for Baby - South Brisbane for both of my children. They always had the items available (or could get them quickly enough), and the items were in great condition. We used them for things that I knew we wouldn't be using for more than 3-6 months -- infant swings, activity centres, etc. But they really have everything you need/want without having to pay $100's for something you'll only use for a short time!
