Love taking the kids here - staff are friendly and gooood steak

A hit with my family. Kids love the curly fries and burgers, I love the slow cooked steak and lamb shanks. Last time we visited they had a great deal with dinner and desert for $29. Never had to wait long for our food.

As good as they say it is, fantastic steak selection, good value beer and wine, great service, the location is convinient and ample parking space.

I had the garlic mushroom prime rib, I am Not a steak fan. But I enjoyed the meal and the rest of the menu looked fabulous. I thought the waitresses were amazingly quick, super friendly and cute. It gets paked on weekends so plan ahead. Some may find it a bit pricey but there is good value for money. it still attracts the crowds.

I've tried everything on the menu and if you're a fan of well cooked steaks and looking for a place with a fast service, this is where you'll want to be. The food is well presented and each dish is abundant with delicate flavours. Although everyone raves about the slow cooked steaks and I personally thought that the taste was far superior.

This was amazing place with great service and knowledge of all products. Everyone should try the Hogsbreath cafe at least once in their lives. This place was SO GOOD that i had to write a review and let others know... you will not be dissapointed.

Outstanding service and excellent menu. We celebrated my daughter's 2nd birthday and were mesmorised by the level of service. The food was excellent and worth every cent. The rocky roads sundae was a real winner. The night was topped off by all the waiters gathering around to sing my daughter happy birthday. We will definetly be returning very soon!

Great food quality, and not too pricey. Perfect location on the for a few beverages and delicious steaks on a cold evening.

After reading all the good initial reviews for Hogsbreath cafe my dining experience was as expected. The wait staff knew the food well and the suggestions were extremely helpful and cooked just right. My table of seven ended our meal after our mains with the famous rocky roads sundae. With so many good restaurants in Melbourne, Hogsbreath should be on anyone's "must go there" list.

Overall had a fantastic dining experience. Had taken my family for dinner, we were looked after very well by the staff and the food tasted delish. Good variety of choice for kids as well. Perfect family restaurant.

Hogs breath have not only unbelievable steak... everything i have tried on their menu has all been excellent! i highly recommend stopping for dinner!

Not a fan. The meat does not taste like meat. In turn the waitress sat down with us to take the order. And the garlic bread was mirowaved. I can microwave at home.. Bad Experince.

We have eaten at the Karingal site also and found it was better in the quality of food adn service areas. This restaurant was acceptable but not outstanding at all. The prime rib was nice but the vegetables undercooked and not appealing in general. The sticky date pudding was again acceptable but not as fresh tasting as it was not as 'fluffy and light'. The standard of presentation of the staff was disapointing in general, facial jewellery and over-done make up, messy hair and dirty aprons/uniforms. Could be improved with little effort I should think.

Great steak was enjoyed by both my husband and myself, good place to have dinner then of to a movie. Not a great place to have a full night out.

Compared to other steak houses which are quite expensive, the 18hrs marinated steaks at Hog's Breath are amazing for an affordable price. However, if you miss out of the 18hrs marinated steak, can be quite disappointing.

Hogs Breath Cafe has great food, no doubt about it. But I have been to this particular one 8 times now. 6 of those 8 times, my order has been incorrect and the wait time is bordering on ridiculous. Go to the Knox Ozone restaurant instead. It's worth the drive.

my experience at hogs breath was the worst food iv ever had. it was a week night, and they had ran out of stake, it wasn't cooked properly, my vegetables were not cooked, and the service was bad.

We went in not really expecting the really tender steak these days most are like shoe leather. We Ordered Garlic Prawn Prime Rib$34.95 & Garlic Mushroom Prime Rib$31.95 these were more expensive on the menu . Well The steak was the best we had eaten in a very very long time it just melted it was so tender my husband loved all of his meal the only small thing I didnt like was the hogs curly fries next time would have the mash patatoe.
We went back the following week to try the Double steak sandwich with fries or veg
$15 and the steak again was so tender staff were great too

What a disappointment. I ordered the mini chicken parmigiana and it was horrible. A tiny dried up piece of chicken - kfc looks better than this. The fries were greasy and cold and the salad was very bland. I left feeling ripped off, as the prices are not cheap. My husbands steak was undercooked and had a lot of fat on it and he was very unhappy with it. We definitely will not be going back.

My husband and I love eating here. They do the best steak in town. The prime rib steak is marinated for over 18 hours. It is so tender that you can cut it with the back of your knife! There is a range of different steaks as well as chicken, fish and vegetarian. A huge Drinks menu including cocktails!! You can even order a smaller portion instead of a huge main meal so you can fit in dessert! Or you can order an even bigger sized meal normal if you are feeling extra peckish. The friendly staff always find a spot for us even if we don't make a reservation and are very helpful. We never have to wait long for our meals. A relaxed environment where we have fun every time we go.

Nice Staff, food was excellent. Was in and eating main course within 30mins (relaxed, but didn't have to wait an hour to get our mains). No pushy add ons to meal.

awesome atmosphere great food and staff great eating area and a seperate area just to go in and have a drink menu has a great selection of food and the bar is great to from soft drinks beer to a great cocktail
