Pub meal suited our party of 7, including 3 kids, just fine.
Kids meals were brought out first, though annoyingly they had finished by the time our meals arrived 25 minutes later.
Chicken parma was very tasty; chips were nice but soggy.
Bar service was fast, but meals seemed to be quite slow, although it was a busy Friday night.

We had dinner at the Shamrock. Little did we expect such good dining and service. So good in fact, we went back for two breakfasts, as well.
The dinners were 1st class, and at around $70 - which included 2 drinks each, very good value.
We'd go back - tomorrow.

Love it love it love it. I attend there nearly every Sunday for Sunday fun day all the time. The service is great the staff are always polite and accommodating. The high tea is excellent and a must do for everyone highly recommended. Great place great atmosphere.

Stayed here for a night with my husband. Location is great, but parking is a little way from the hotel. Whole place felt like it could do with being refurbished, very 'tired' in places. The worst thing was the bed, it had zero support and sagged in the middle. It was so bad we had to get a roll away bed brought upto the room.

food is reasonable. if any problems just say and the staff will always fix it. all the staff are fantastic. only go sunday funday.

only ever had a coffe here and played pokies as well really enjoyable coffee in a very classy venue has up stairs and down stairs and a great balcony to also relax on and enjoy a drink or meal very nice place in heart of bendigo had a relaxing enjoyable time in busy awsome place to just enjoy a drink coffee meal and just catch up with mates

Just reciently I had the chance to check out one of the upstairs meating room and it was nicer then I though it would be. I have had a mix of experiences with the Shamrock from poor food and service to great food and service. The last time we were there it was great had a lovely meal with great service. I think you just have to try it yourself and see what you think. I love the building and the history that goes with it.

i go there sometimes with my girlfriend and they have amazing service with staff always friendly and on the ball.
great place for a funtion too.
I love the mushroom entree they have its definatly a must try for a fancy night out.

We love going to Balcony Restaurant. The service and food is brilliant, as is the whole atmosphere of the Restaurant. Beautiful outlook. Best dessert I've eaten in Bendigo ever and the dessert menu is only $10. Highly recommend.
