My husband Paul and I decided on building with Hotondo after we quickly fell in love with the display home in Sterling Green. It was pretty much exactly what we were looking for and had a very high standard of finishes.

We were impressed with our dealings right from the first visit and as we were living in Sydney and would not be able to inspect the build very often, it was very important that we felt confident everything would progress well.

“After hearing good reports about a few builders from friends and colleagues I decided to see for myself when it was time to start choosing one just for me. I consider myself to be hard work, fussy and a bit of a stress head.
I’ve been dealing with the team at Hotondo Homes since earlier in the year and will build my dream with them once my block registers. Dean is so friendly and knowledgeable. From my first visit when most of the other builders didn’t even greet me on the way in, Dean listened to my needs and was extremely helpful with advice on designs that would suit my situation and the block perfectly and filled me in on the whole process from go to whoa. Dean met me on my block, measuring and pegging out a few different options. We discussed how to modify their standard design to fit the land perfectly and to reduce the cost of site works.
The salespeople from the other places I left my details with never even called me back. Nothing has been too much trouble for Hotondo, even showing me through current builds in progress around the area. Pointing out the quality differences in their building process. Sure they have an amazing quality display home which you would expect for a sales tool, but the homes in construction were equally impressive.

“Choosing Hotondo homes Port Macquarie was the best decision my partner and I made throughout the building process of our new home. I would strongly urge anyone who is thinking of building or renovating.
From the get go, Fiona was warm, friendly and helpful. Her communication skills throughout the process were outstanding and we never once felt uninformed or unprepared for any part of the building process.
Fiona made us feel like her number one priority and customer throughout the whole process, any question or issue brought up throughout the building duration was resolved quickly and Fiona was always readily available to us.

Every inspection time was flexible to our needs and I could write a 10 page list on how well kept/ clean and neat the construction site was every time we arrived.

The building itself cannot be faulted and the trades they use are top quality. From the moment the frame was up to the completed end product the house was secure, neat and a perfectionists dream. Nothing on our house was crooked, overlapping or loose. Every trade well protected their works at every stage to prevent any damage for the next trade that was applied to the property
Fiona and her team made the handover process and absolute dream going above and beyond with making sure we got into our home as soon as we could and understanding our urgency to be in our new home.
The house has been so beautifully cleaned for our move in and the yard was well cleared and organised for us.
They took care of all required council paper work and made sure we were well informed of any potential unexpected costs or fees coming from the council. Nothing came as a surprise to us. Even post- handover process has been such a wonderful process when dealing with Fiona. She has been proactive in making sure all our concerns are sorted in a timely manner and prioritised.
I would also like to point out that Port Macquarie Hotondo really do so much more than any other building companies we have come across in the area. Little things like moving our dirt evenly around after the foundations were made, piling all the bricks together neatly in the yard, cleaning up their site well, grassing our driveway and many more, all these things really went a long long way.

From our very first contact with Hotondo Homes Port Macquarie my Wife & I were made to feel welcome & valued, even at the early stage when we were simply comparing house plans & costings.

Dean was very friendly and knowledgeable explaining different house plans, potential site costs, allowances & inclusions that Hotondo offered & was more than happy to answer our many questions.

We really value the integrity demonstrated by the Hotondo Port Macquarie team. We’d heard some horror stories about building projects with blown out or hidden costs and lengthy delays. Our gorgeous home was ready on time, and importantly, right on budget.
