Poor customer service, poor communication and misleading advertisements.
When purchasing a family ticket, the website link advised ( after selecting tickets) you can save on the price of the ticket by becoming a premium member. However on singing up the price is exactly the same. I contacted hots the same day and asked them to canceled my membership. They took two months to reply with:

“While we appreciate you signed up with the intention to use your VIP Discount on Family Tickets, our Rewards Membership is non-refundable. Whilst we understand your disappointment, please be assured that this was never our intention.”

Sadly for them, pay pal has reversed the transaction and sided in my favour. It is only $15 but it’s the principle not the price.

Cinema itself is nice. 2 drinks +popcorn $29...and prices not published. Rip off. When we asked at the counter how much 2 drinks and popcorn were we were only given 1 option....and the coke after all this was not fizzy. Will not come here again

Approximate cost: $80

Broadway has had a makeover and the Cinemas are looking awesome. Extreme screen is also installed so you can get the best of the best video and audio in their cinemas.

The parking was definitely a nightmare, it took me an hour to get out due to a backup of cars. Third hour of parking is included when you validate your ticket at the cinemas (although the validation machine is very very very hard to find)

Food court is near cinema for a quick eat before or after the movie.

As with all large chains the food and drink is very expensive, I recommend going to coles beforehand and picking up what you want.

Overall a neat modern cinema making for a good movie experience.

Approximate cost: $20

As expected from a large cinema chain - the prices are high and the atmosphere is low. Sydney has much more interesting cinemas to visit other than this one - but for your butter-popcorn blockbuster flicks its sure to satisfy the itch.

The convenient city location and proximity to food, shopping & transport s all a positive and 'Xtreme screen' is highly recommended for spectacle films.

Approximate cost: $12-$22

A very convenietntly located cinema - use the `express` ramp in the parking garage to get you straight up to Level 2. There's a decent snack bar and coffee shop inside. Comfortable seats and friendly staff.

Approximate cost: $20.00

This is one of the more cleaner Event Cinemas around. George St is by far the dirtiest. Broadway shopping centre has really improved over the last few years so if you have time to kill before a movie it's a great place to walk around. The staff are generally quite friendly, but the prices have sky rocketed in the past few years. Best to use optus and telstra discounts if you're a member.

Thanks for the recent feedback about Event Cinemas at Broadway. I did find the George St cinema really grubby on many occasions.

This is a very handy, modern and good Hoyts Cinema complexe and is within a lovely shopping mall with a Target , Kmart and Coles and lots of great shops built within the lovely old Grace Buildings, so you can shop and eat in the food court after the movies.
At Hoyts they validate your parking so you get an extra hour free, which is good and the cinemas are well equipped and modern, cup holders and all. The service always seems slow, especially since they combined the tickets and candy bar together but for your choc top its worth the wait.
If your a Hoyts member you get points towards free movies, 10 points for every dollar spent. Very Nice Cinema, and theres a good Bar at night within the Hoyts as well.

Approximate cost: $18.50

Expensive, but clean seats. Cinemas were smaller than usual, but still reasonable. Staff were very young and inexperienced, which was frustrating as it took a while to buy tickets and snacks.

Approximate cost: $25

This cinema complex is really convenient, close to heaps of other shops. Love the fact that you can go and get some good food from the food court at Broadway and then go and see a movie. Enjoy the experience of retail therapy plus a great film and food!!

Approximate cost: $25
