In and out accountants
Lodged my 2005 tax return here and I will only use them again if they were the last accountants on the planet. Contrary to the ads on TV, they didn't try their best to get the best tax return for you. I spoke to another accountant I met through an acquaintance after I had lodged my tax return and was told H&R Block missed out on some obvious deductions.
Looking back, they were more interested in just getting the fee rather than getting me the best return possible

I have to add that two years in a row H&R Block forgot to lodge forms that were related to Family Tax Benefit and I had to do the chasing to get my entitlements. If I wanted to run around, I would have done my tax myself and saved myself the fee.
