Great pizza. Genuine, simple and traditional, allowing the quality of the ingredients and pairing of flavours to shine. Warm service and a rustic atmosphere.

Greeted by a friendly man, nice and warm inside, maybe a bit on the smaller side which makes it a bit cramped and sometimes difficult to get a seat when busy. The pizzas have a lovely thin base and the toppings are very flavoursome as well, artichoke on a pizza? Delicious.

Best pizza in town - beautiful thin crust and authentic italian pizza. Food was served fast, good service, I'm a fan!

The food was OK for the price but the outside of the shop could be better presented. It's quite a letdown when you first see the restaurant

Approximate cost: $15

Not sure if I copped a bad night but we waited forever for our food and that's no exaggeration! The place is very cramped, the waitresses were not friendly and did not show any understanding at all. The food was ok, but overpriced in my opinion. I'm not in any hurry to go back but if I do and they've improved, I'll be sure to update my review!

our mothers group went to this restaurant for dinner last week and were quite disappointed. Its a very small restaurant and we were all squashed in up against the front window so anytime people walked in were we treated to a cold gust of air. the waitress wasn't too great and when dessert came along only took orders for half a table leaving us ladies at the other end with no dessert! Then the bill came and they overcharged us $60! Lucky one of the ladies checked! Not good and I definitely won't go there again.

Approximate cost: $15-20

Is this a group of mothers that are all whingey and whiney because they have had no sleep, sex and constantly complain about their husbands' and sooked up because of the cost? They make damn good Pizza. Get over yourselves and move to the suburbs. You don't deserve inner city living, you 'White people'. Do some research next time about your restaurant and the other customers won't have to put up with you. Maybe go somewhere that has a play area and a chicken parma for $15.

I've been going to I Carusi for the past 8 years and never had a bad pizza, the base is is great as are the toppings and the combinations are well thought out. I've nearly always had friendly and competent service and any errors or inconvenience have been rare and insignificant. It is a small place and the wind chill factor can be an issue in winter.

This is how pizza should taste. Just wonderful. Cute little place. Friendly service. Remember to make a booking as word has spread. I can't wait to go back to try other pizzas on the menu.

This is my favourite pizza in Melbourne. Pizza for a friend is delicious. Pine nuts, creamy goats cheese and rocket. Lovely toppings, nutty flavoured thin pizza bases.
Eating in is an intimate experience. Dim lighting, thick lovely linen tablecloths. It's warm and it smells fantastic. You can see some of the action taking place in the kitchen, as pizza dough is rolled and thrown up in the air all night long.
We usually go for take away, and I have to say we have sometimes waited for a really really REALLY long time, but when it's that good, we forgive. The dessert pizzas are TO DIE FOR. Staff are very competent, but there is an air of 'you are lucky we are letting you eat our pizza' about them! And truly, we are lucky to be eating their pizza. Laugh about it, and just sit back and eat.

Approximate cost: $18

Pizza: savoury and dessert are wonderfully delicious. Amongst the few best pizzas I have ever tried. Well worth a try. My only criticism would be the lengthy wait time we have experienced every time we've been, further to that the staff have not been as nice as they could be. The only thing bringing us back time after time has been the excellent pizza, mind you, the lengthy wait time and poor staff attitude has also instigated us looking for/trying out alternate pizza places.

Amazing Pizza, hard to find but worth the hunt, great European feel inside and friendly staff. It's BYO and fills fast. Lots of choice for toppings and all fresh and tasty.

Approximate cost: $13
