Stayed here Saturday night. Close to everything, maccas across the red, coles express, buses, taxi etc. bit of a hike to get to city or any restaurants.
Daniel at reception was lovely, helpful and friendly.
Check in was simple, deposit with cc on arrival.
Room was clean but small. Things I did point out to the girls the next morning when at breakfast were the shower curtain has dark greasy marks on it where hands have been and very unappealing, the aircon is full of mold, needs cleaning because that will make people sick. The clock in the room doesn’t work other than turning it on.time couldn’t be fixed and we tried . So we turned it off. Window was clean, view of the red
The shower is tiny and the floor is flat in the bathroom,so water flows out onto the hall floor. .bathroom was clean .
Bed was comfy and clean.
Car parking spaces are very close together ,we had to wait for a car to move next to ours so we could get in our car.
The girls on reception the next morning were lovely. We had breakfast for $9 which is t bad but a bit more variety is needed, three kinds of toast, juices, yoghurts, coffee, condiments, all kept clean in the area, continental I’m not sure what that was about, toast and cereal and juice isn’t a continental breakfast. But everything was fresh and cold.
Price was right and will stay again when need be

Approximate cost: $79

Ibis is a budget hotel chain, so you really shouldn't expect any more than they provide. Basic rooms with comfy beds, a tv, tea and coffee making equipment, and it's clean.

I've stayed here on several occasions and will continue doing so because if the price.

Approximate cost: $99

Ibis has small rooms, cheap furnishings and a cheap nightly rate. If you're just looking for somewhere to crash, you'll be fine. We used it as a 'home base' whilst visiting friends and relatives.

This is a great place to stay. I guess it's all relative - you do get what you pay for, but it depends what you expect. This hotel is perfectly placed in the CBD of Brisbane, close to everything including all public transport options. It's clean and has all the facilities you would expect for a lower budget place, plus courteous service.

Staying here with access to train and bus is a cheaper alternative than staying out at a caravan park and hiring a car by far. Walking around the city is nice and their "Go" card (much better than Myki) is easy to use. The place was clean and quiet (no traffic noise) and had a big screen TV (didn't try the reception) and tea and coffee making facilities as well as a mini fridge.

They also have their own restaurant with very good prices - when faced with take-away, the option of pumpkin soup and a delicious pasta was the much better way to go.

Single room but with a double bed, comfortable and plenty of pillows and bedding. Clean and useable amenities. Not much style to be had, but bench, bedhead, large framed print on wall, and other "furniture" was a functional modern type and very adequate for a short stay. Large window filled the room with light.

Staff went above their requirements when they offered another vacant room which had been cleaned and was ready as a place to crash before the scheduled check in time for the actual booked room on arrival. This was very courteous. On the return journey, they looked after bags after check out until flight that night.

Wouldn't hesitate to come back here.

Approximate cost: $Around $90

For a three-and-a-half star hotel we got a cramped room with unfashionable furniture, no minibar, no internet and poor TV reception. I guess it's to be expected as you get what you pay for. We also got a decent 24-hour reception service and central location but had to cope with traffic noise as we weren't too far from the ground floor. This is a last resort for a family trip if you can't afford 4-star accommodation nearby when there are large events in Brisbane.

Always wondered what this hotel was like. Now I know not to book there. Thanks for the review.
