Definitely a more luxurious styled Japanese restaurant where the fish is top quality and really fresh. One of the highlights was the dragon roll, the flavours of the tuna, cucumber and avo together with the sauces were so good! A must try!

Love the food the service is awesome but does take a while for someone to get to you on busy days, wasabi prawns rock and sushimi.

All the staff are well trained and they try to give you an authentic Japanese experience as much as they can which is great. The food is very fresh and delicious.

I love this place! The food is so good. It is authentic Japanese. Make sure you book or you will miss out as it is very popular. It is quite expensive for Japanese but you will not be disappointed the quality is good

Unfortunately I did not find the experience to be on the same level as other reviewers.
The quality of the food is good as you would expect it to be given the premium price tag. The atmosphere, given the location and proximity to the beach, along with the beautiful views, is relaxed and nice.
However, I found the service to be lacking. Our glasses were not topped up periodically and it was hard to flag down a waiter for this purpose. I felt that the restaurant was trading off its location and relying on the quality of the food and atmospheric backdrop to overshadow the lack of service.

After getting back from Japan a few weeks ago, I've been finding it hard to find Japanese food that satisfies me! Although this restaurant is on the pricey side and you could definitely find cheaper, the quality is excellent. The fish is extremely fresh and the food is delicious. The atmosphere is great. I would recommend making up your own bento box for 18 dollars. You can choose your three sections of your bento box out of a list of options and includes a salad. Great lunch for under $20!

Really, really delicious authentic Japanese food with great variety! Food here will not disappoint, although it is a little on the pricy side!
Great location right in the heart of St Kilda and close to the beach. It's great to sit outside and enjoy a few drinks and some delicious food with friends!
I highly recommend this place but make sure you book! It gets busy!
