I live in Brisbane. I checked the stock levels near me and confirmed they had the items I wanted in stock. Paid for a bunch of items only to be told a few days later they had none of the items in stock.

I called them and explained the problem. They were polite but offered excuses about the inventory issue, telling me I had to check it before ordering it (which I did - and even if I didn't they shouldn't take my money if they don't have the item in stock.) They also said next time to not order online and come in store...?

Anyways...
I asked how long a refund would take, and they said a few days. I was sceptical about this website being a scam so I asked for them to refund me straightaway, and to their credit they did.

So good job to them for a fast service in refunding me at least...

Lesson here seems like don't buy online - only buy in store.

Very honest people. I once accidentally selected delivery option for a small purchase of $12 (I usually pick up from their warehouse near my office) and unknowing copped a delivery charge exceeding that amount. A staff spotted the anomaly and called me to enquire why I had opted for delivery when it was usually pick up. Order was changed to pick up and delivery charge was refunded to my credit card.

Wonderful supplies to stock up. Ask about their postage option as they even service us down here in tassie.

Japanese groceries. You order online and then either have it posted or pickup. Prices are REALLY good. I think a lot of customers may be japanese takeaways/restaurants as some of the products are sold in bulk.

I'm yet to find a one-stop japanese grocery store in Melbourne where I can get everything, but this carries products not stocked by the others (eg onigiri containers) so I'd definitely recommend it.

They also gave a free ito en drink on pick up today even though my order was very small, so good customer service also. :)
