Excellent customer service. Bought a bed from ikea and really liked the material used in the bed. Sturdy and well-designed.

Visited IKEA Richmond for the Saturdays hustle and bustle.
Did actually buy anything but went with a friend who bought a wardrobe for a reasonable price. Lots of people maybe needed a few more staff on. Will be back

i love ikea but i found the richmond store really hard work. ikea is generally pretty hard work anyway but their stuff is great. basically at the richmond one you park in a big shopping centre that has lots of other shops and ikea was at the top. we did our shopping at ikea then went to push the trolley to the car. a security guard stopped us and told us not trolleys could be taken through the shopping centre. what they expect you to do is wait upstairs & get someone else to go get the car & bring it up to collect you. Once you have done this you have lost your original parking space. also you could not do this alone you have to have someone with you.
very odd design i have to say. ikea is much better as a stand alone store on a single level not at the top of a building.

While I am a big fan of ikea and their well priced flat pack furniture , the store in Richmond is just really stupidly set out.
It's really difficult to get items back to your car - especially if you have bought large items.
If I need to go to ikea I take the drive out to springvale for convenience.

Approximate cost: $Avg ikea prices.

everything from this store is terrible quality and extremely overpriced for what you are getting. store layout is maze-like and confusing. staff are unhelpful and rude. pillows i bought from here are all lumpy within a month...

I have a love/hate relationship with Ikea, it can be very overwhelming, this particular store is quite small so you can't always get what you want, but I've always been able to find something suitable

I love this place. Its huge and you can get anything you want for the home and its very reasonably priced. I even bought some fresh growing mint and it was better that the one I purchased at a nursery. They have some amazing storage solutions and just wandering around you get some really good ideas. Their cafe is not bad either.

This store has the most fantastic range of inexpensive and very clever ideas. We purchased a tall shelving unit for our bathroom, it looks fantastic and cost less tha $100. Love the kitchen area. It can be tricky to work out the sections but worth a walk through anytime.

Have to agree with you there.

It was my first time visiting Ikea, so it was rather novel and for reasons I have yet to understand it smelled like jelly beans mixed with something.

There was a great range of things but is difficult to find what you are looking for if you haven't had experience in the shop especially when you are on a time limit. In the end we found what we were looking for and left with a few extra things as well :)

Such a great store for all types of homewares and furniture. The cafe is fantastic and serve good coffees which is so needed after shopping around and you need a rest.

I have found a few nice items in homewares to give as gifts and my friends were very appreciative and loved them!
