Indian Brasserie Golden Grove

I don't usually like Indian food, but tried this place on a recent holiday and was really impressed.

I gave a good review for this Restaurant some time ago after I dined there on a few occasions for lunch. I had such a really nice experience with the Rogan Josh, I recommended them to my son for take-away, expecting him to really enjoy it! Well, I don't know what went wrong__ Two times we ordered Rogan Josh Medium it was really HOT. I did specifically order medium.....and the 2nd time, I said very clearly "not hot, only medium, do please be careful"......his reception of my words was good, and attentive also. But we had the same experience..... again it was really hot and the naan bread was yuck. I'm not sure why the Rojan Josh is so different, it was fabulous before. Maybe it would be a good idea to go for a Counter Meal on a Sunday for $20.00 (all you can eat). He tells me there are 3 different dishes each week and accompaniments. I cannot fault their manners_ he is so Nice, so Polite. So if you like hot cuisine, you will like it there. Skip the Samosas!

2016 UPDATE: Sometime later, when passing by, I did try their Counter Meal. The 3 dishes are not so hot. My favourite was their BEEF MADRAS - Really Tasty! For some reason, the protein is somewhat dry, so it would pay to Be Early before the meals stay hot in the pots long. That's my advice:) Their Mango Chutney is Fruity Delicious - another absolute favorite! Some restaurants make it too sweet, which spoil it really. For Samosas, I go to Chillies (they make the absolute best) there is much room for improvement here. Their Mint Raitar is nice.

This is our new favourite Indian Takeaway since finding it on Menulog. The serve sizes are great and the quality of the food is excellent. The delivery is prompt and well packaged.
Well worth a try.

My choice for local Indian take away and we recently dined in. I love their food & service is excellent with very helpful & friendly staff that went out of their way to assist us. A small. cosey but authentic dining area whether you are looking for a casual meal out or a quiet meal for two. I find most Indian restaurants good value and here is no exception. Thumbs up!

Food is nice but think food size is smaller than other indian places we have experienced. we still get take away reg as it is closest but not the best..

I think this is one of the best Indian restaurants in Adelaide. I have tried various places in Adelaide, but this one is the best for me. I love their Chicken tikka masala, and this is great. I am addicted.

Hi there, I never forget the Rojen Josh I tried in this resturant some months ago_ it is SO SPICY DELICIOUS....I would order it again even though I make my own these days....would be interested to try Vegetarian Dishes and Chuckneys also. I phoned them today to enquire about Dinner Menu and even found that they have a fabulous descriptive web-site! This man is also 'eager to please'.....do you know that they will even make you a dish from the dinner menu for lunch if you like. The restaurant looks fine to me. I just had to review this Restaurant when I noticed it on this Site. NOTE: Please read my other reviews because quality has changed. Our Medium Serves have been far too hot and we love Spice! Staff are polite.

Every time we go there the food is so tasty and we have such a great time. The ambiance and service is great.

Indian Brasserie is one of the best Indian restaurants in Adelaide. Very yummy food and big proportions. The service is outstanding and there is a wide selection of curries to choose from at great prices. I will be definitely be eating there again!

Food is very tasty with good size portions. I agree with an other rater that they need to look up at the ceiling and do a bit of A/C vent cleaning and repair. This would not stop me from going as the cleanliness at ground level is quite satisfactory.

Best Indian food ever!!!!!Butter chicken and Shahi Paneer to die for. Great friendly service. Even the kids love it and always ask for indian takeaway now instead of pizza...Yeh!!

We had the Beef Vindaloo, Shaahi Paneer, Lamb Saagwlaa, garlic naan, raita, vegetarian samosas with steamed rice. All of it was delicious! We had ours to takeaway, and the service was friendly, the prices are good, and we didn't wait too long before it was ready!

The people here always remember us when we are there and say hello if we see them in the supermarket. They always have a friendly smile! They make good food and satisfy my cravings for a hot vindaloo

Great place to go to for the Indian Food experience.
Interestingly have been there 3 times now and have not suffered after eating the hot vindaloos

We had dinner on wednesday, the food was great. I believe this is the only Indian Restaurant where we get fresh food, quality, good price& perfect service. We go every week & the food has been really fantastic. Well Done Chef!!!

Overall I thought that this restaurant was quite average. The food was okay but not remarkable. I found some aspects of the cleanliness questionable.
