There are cancellations from time to time but it is part of flying. Safety is paramount.

Online booking system didn't work, they didn't tell me what gate I needed to go to and then bagage weight officer racially discriminated against me.

I will never again fly jetstar, thank goodness bonza is here to pick up their slack.

Good airlines with affordable ticket flight. It has been a few times flying with them and never have any issues.

I haven't had customer service issues with Jetstar. I found staff to be helpful and friendly. Yes, I have been delayed at times and this hasn't been more than a few hours....just decided to read and dine at the airport. Like the value.

Never again will I fly with Jetstar Airways. From their constant an unappologetic delays, causing us to miss connecting international flights and having to pay for new flights and loosing all our pre paid extras on the connecting flights. Given on board meals but no cuttlery to eat it with, 10 minutes into our flight and two of the four on board toilets were out of order on our long haul international flight on the dreamliner. Had to beg and argue with the steward just to get a drink of orange juice that I was entitled to with my meal purchase. Never Again!

A few years ago I thought jetstar were way behind virgin. I was disappointed because I wanted to support the Aussie airline but virgin were cheaper and much friendlier.
Now the times have changed and every time I book a flight, jetstar is much cheaper than virgin. Their staff now are pretty friendly and much improved on a few years back.
I would say, don't order the hot chocolate and if jetstar execs read this, please just try your own hot chocolate and tell me if you're think it passes as a food product- it's dreadful! But otherwise jetstar is great. Website is a bit clunky.

haven't had many problems with flying Jetstar from Launceston to Melbourne everything always goes smoothly if I'm on time anyway10/10

Booked a flight from Melbourne to Sydney for a business meeting and after being showered with confirmation emails by Jetstar, I was sent a text just before the flight telling my it was cancelled. No alternatives were provided. I was given a contact number for the call centre, which responded by telling me that 'all the operators are busy'. My only option was to purchase another ticket with another airline. Jetstar did eventually refund my ticket but couldn't compensate me for the inconvenience and the additional cost of having to book new flights at the last minute. This is not the first time this has happened with this airline. It is unreliable. I will certainly never fly with Jetstar again!

I used Jetstar to fly from Sydney to Adelaide earlier this year. For a budget airline, everything went smoothly. There is no on board entertainment unless you pay for it, but for a short flight, it's easy to entertain yourself if you have your own devices or book to read. One of the flights was delayed by a few hours, but I received an SMS warning so there was no inconvenience caused.

A great budget airline to travel to your favorite destinations. we are off to Bali for a week in may. Its a cheap airline with a reliable economy fare .. I have booked again and will fly on the early evening flight to Denpasar on the 2nd June 2016...

I love Jetstar!

The airline is very good value....better than Virgin nowadays.

We often travel there to Bali and they have some good inflight entertainment even if you have to pay for them.

I would recommend flying Jetstar any day.

Travelled with jetstar from Melbourne to Hobart a few weeks ago when it came time to book online was unable to so I rang and it was going to cost an extra $50 p/p to book it over the phone. They apologised and offered me a $50 voucher to use next time I travelled but it was only valid for 6 months and I didn't know when I would be travelling again.

Travelled with Jetstar both domestically and internationally and never had a problem, staff are always polite and friendly and the aircrafts themselves are clean and presentable. For a budget airline it is very nice and I'm happily choosing them in the future for all my air-travel.

After purchasing a ticket on the Jetstar website using correct details I started to get phone calls from a boomerang.com company wanting me to give them my credit card details. Unless Jetstar sold them my personal details I do not know how else they got them, as they mentioned that I had got this offer after recently purchasing a flight!!

VERY unhappy with this - so this is a warning to anyone about to purchase a flight make sure yo umake clear you DO NOT give your permission for Jetstar to pass your details onto any other company :( Such a shame as heir flights have alwayst been better value than the other companies ... very unimpressed.

Although jet star always have great flight deals, it isn't a reliable airline when it comes to time management. Most of the time when I pick up relatives from the airport I am always left waiting 4-6 hours longer because of delayed flight via this airline. :(

I had to change a flight booking to return to Hobart from Melbourne on an earlier flight than I had booked online months earlier. This can only be done by phone. The Jetstar 'consultant' found me a new flight, which cost more than the original and would also attract a change fee. As he tapped away at his screen, sorting all this out, he asked 'how's your day been'? I snorted a bit and he politely sort of queried why. I explained that the only reason I was changing the flight was that I had to come home for urgent medical treatment. He apologised for asking the question and I assured him I wasn't offended; he wasn't to know. We finished the transaction, then ten minutes later he rang back to apologise for not drawing my attention to Jetstar's 'compassionate request' policy whereby the change fee might be waived in such circumstances. I was grateful and touched that he'd taken the trouble to let me know about it. The fee was duly waived. Thank you Jetstar.

Just purchased tickets to the gold coast for only $69 each way. I've flew with Jetstar quite a few times and never had any issues. Easy to use website where you choose to pay for what you want. They usually have the cheapest fares but you can pay a little more for choosing a particular seat etc

Jetstar is an Australian budget airline where you will find cheap flights around Australia, New Zealand and overseas. They regularly have sale fares within Australia - I've been fortunate to book some holidays this way , often to Melbourne Tullamarine or the Gold Coast to visit friends. Never had a problem with them, even with kids in tow. Service has always been friendly, accomodating and with a smile, will continue to fly with them!

Bargain prices, nice staff, neat and tidy. Can't ask for much more. An added bonus is online check-in 48 hours prior to the flight. I did this for a recent flight and got an SMS confirming my flight information. When I showed it to the staff when the gates opened they put it in a scanner which printed out my boarding pass. So handy!

Great Discount Airline ,Cabin Crew are friendly and flights have been Trouble free , Great Sales so you get some good Bargains which is always good if you have a large family to take with you

I enjoy jet setting to various locations with Jetstar. There flights are so enjoyable, as the pilots and cabin crew are so personable and friendly. I also enjoy the food selection available on the flight. Can't wait to be a passenger on the 787 Dreamliners once they begin there routes from Brisbane.

not a bad airline to fly with, the one thing that sets this apart is the fact that they have huge sales on and i usually receive their emails about them which is pretty good and convenient

Being very frequent travellers, a good, reasonably priced airline is of utmost importance to us. Jetstar provides a good level of comfort and custimer service at a reasonable price. They don't, like certain other airlines, compromise comfort for a cheaper fare.

We have used, and will continue to use, Jetstar for the majority of our flights. In fact, we're booked with them to Hawaii in December!

I love that Jetstar are always so reliable with their flights and usually close to , or on time.
Their ticket prices are usually cheap compared to the other airlines, I frequently use them to go to Sydney from Adelaide (and return).
This last time I also took my dog, and the staff were great with making sure she was given enough water and they took her for a quick walk (on the leash) before hand to relax her, I was super impressed with they extra care they took, have flown with pets on other airlines and been very disappointed, but not this time..
Would recommend Jestar to anyone transporting pets!

I always go with Jetstar and find the staff very helpful. I find the price was reasonable and they were accommodating with my two year old. Highly recommend. The only negative thing about Jetstar is they dont have any child strollers to use while you are waiting for the flight (however they do in NZ). We always use Jetstar because we know they have the best prices. We take advantage of the in flight entertainment of the iPad which is reasonable priced. Why pay more when you can get good service and a nice comfortable seat at the best price? Only Jetstar!!!

I always fly with jetstar! Boarding is always easy I have a few trips coming up :) on the plane having leather seats with spacious feet room feels like first class! Also cheap flights!

I have flown Jetstar a few times when I wanted a cheap flight and wasnt needing to take much baggage. The service was ok you have to purchase your drinks and refreshments which helps keep the prices down. they have a thing called friday fare frenzy and they send you an email on fridays with huge specials of heavily discounted fares on selected routes at certain times that always worth a look They seem to go to Avalon airport in melbourne a lot though which is like the end of the earth.

Cheap and easy flight. Good value for money. Watch your luggage weight though! Had some towels I couldn't get dry before leaving which put my luggage a little over and they were going to charge a huge amount per kg. Had to empty out some toiletries and the re-buy them at the next destination. I know it's a budget airline but if only slightly over you'd think they'd let it slide. Fortunately I had left plenty of time or I might have run late. Other than that, once on the plane it was quite a nice flight, especially given the competative cost.
