very nice fish cooked here was not too oily and the fish was cooked perfectly i also had some chips from here but found the chips we had were a little over cooked for my liking but the fish was great so didnt really matter great size the fish was also and a good serving of chips as well neat and clean fish shop with friendly customer service didnt have much of a wait either for our lunch great thanks

i'm fussy with my fish and chips and i believe a good batter makes the meal. OMG fresh oil everytime, perfect batter and fresh not dry or greasy fish and chips. 10/10

Pretty good chips here. Nice and crispy; definitely not soggy. One time their potato cakes had a bit of an eggy taste to them which left me a little queezy, so maybe they were slightly underdone, but normally they're very nice.

The service is always cheery and friendly. Would definitely recommend to others.

Update: Having been to Jimmy's several times since I wrote my original review, I'd like to reiterate how good their service and food are. Their chips are the best in the Marsh by a country mile. And the service is always prompt, polite and comes with a smile.

Fantastic take away, quick service. Quite friendly. Best fish n chips here. Chips taste awesome and seafood fresh. Great friday night take away, except i find them a little on the expensive side. But overall great food.
