Jim's Trees

In October, after a 8 month stand-off with the council over a tree, we suddenly required someone urgently to clear a site for us to allow for the construction of a house. Rob is one of the nicest guys you'll meet. Honest & hard-working. Not only did he return my call quickly, but he came out the same day, then quoted HALF what Taylor's quoted us the week before. He also re-arranged his schedule for the following week, just to help us out, so that the excavation wouldn't be delayed any more than it had been.

He's also a qualified arborist, so was able to work within the council permit requirements, & helped us to make sense of them as well.

All in all, he did a fantastic job, working in some horrible weather, cutting down some monster pine trees, (over 20 metres tall) & even personally delivering a load of bark-chip to a neighbour. He even cut down a small tree for me, that I'd started chipping away at, but just didn't have the strength or equipment to complete, simply as a favour.

This is the second service we've used from a 'Jim's' franchise & I'm suitably impressed.

Trees are one of those things that we just don't know enough about, so I highly recommend Rob if you want an honest opinion & a realistic quote.
