6 reviews about Johnny's Pizza & Pasta

We have enjoyed Johnnys Pizza & Pasta in the past, so thought it would be great to have a family dinner with friends tonight ....... major disaster. From the disappointing over hour wait for our meals, with six other take out orders and 4 other tables served before us with very little apology & " we forgot your order", to the non caring fact we had hungry kids who had been waiting patiently, to the family and thier hideous kids bullying our children who thought it funny. No intervention from staff to step in to the abuse we got on leaving. I can only assume that they are happy to have that clientele. We won't be ordering or coming to Johnny's again and certainly won't recommend to anyone else. We're happy to support local business but not this one. Sorry guys you fell well short......
IN RESPONSE TO OWNWER. To clarify in the first instance we didn't start the argument with customers. You have one side of a story that obviously you don't care about. We intervened in a very nasty case of bullying by their child. It was not a case of kids being kids. Their son was in fact being really nasty to my girls. We actually attempted to smooth it over in a pleasant way to start off with and his parents thought it was funny and actually continued to encourage his behaviour. The father was a pretty uptight guy. We felt it best to leave before it escalated. Unfortunately people felt it necessary to make stupid comments directed at us when we left and laugh. The same people you claim intervened. The situation was not at all funny. When I returned to confront the parents yes it got very heated and language was inappropriate. Given their behaviour I don't think that you can pass judgement on mine. Believe me I am not someone who loses my temper in public at all but they came at us, I am going to respond in kind. Any mother would not tolerate her kids being seriously bullied or any adults who actively encourage it. That is pretty obnoxious behaviour and yes I call that low rent.

Johnny's Pizza was pretty nice, but I felt it was a little on the heavy side in terms of sauce. However, the people who served were lovely, and it took about fifteen minutes for my pizza. They were a bit on the expensive side, but they do market themselves more as "gourmet" pizzas, so that's somewhat understandable. Not my first choice, but if I were after a gigantic pizza, I'd probably come here.

Whilst their gourmet pizza are good, especially the seafood variety they are overpriced for what you get. Also they always seem to lack in hot in temperature factor.

Approximate cost: $20
