I love Jorrells - Face, Hair, Body. I have been going to this salson for 5 years. The staff are not 'stuck up' they are very friendly and make me feel calm and relaxed. I wont let anyone but Jo, the salon director cut my hair.....he is great! I have had two other girls at the salon cut my hair, ad they did a great job. I am happy to pay a bit more as the service and the work that they do is great. Nice relaxed tidy salon to.

Approximate cost: $80.00

I went to Jorrells for a Cut and Blow-dry and they were rude when i asked them to layer more and go shorter. I was not rude or demanding in anyway - I communicated what i wanted as I am the customer and I am paying premium to have this service. At one point the hairdresser looked at another woman in the salon and roller her eyes - I saw her in the mirror. This is utterly unprofessional.

Once this was all done I came out looking like i had a trim even though the pic i brought was radically different. they were rude and they charged me $80; the price for a salon director even though the chic that did my hair was just out of training school that she herself told me.

I would never go back and never recommend this place to anyone.

Approximate cost: $80

I have to agree with you on Jorrells. I have been going there now for 2 yrs for foils & the last 2 times i have been disappointed & annoyed at the price you pay for a 2nd rate job! I won't be going back - my last visit earlier this month actually left me in tears after the girl left a bleach mark on my hairline which actually burnt my skin! I had to go back for a correction with someone else later that day at a total inconvenience to me given i was travelling out of the state the next day & had to pack etc with a toddler & baby!

I've been a customer at jorrells for a number of years and am seriously thinking of going elsewhere. Whilst they do a decent job with colour (i've had foils and bleach) it in no way justifies the price which seems to fluctuate according to the day - i've been charged between $170 to $210 for the same colour. Generally they spend about 5 to 10 minutes cutting hair and look outraged when you have the gall to suggest a further change after this - for an $80 price tag. The cuts are definitely nothing special. A couple of times i have specifically requested a certain length off, been assured that this was all they were cutting, then left practically in tears with about 4 x that taken off. Plus the inevitable hard sell of products ( at 70% mark-up) is not appreciated, especially when paying upwards of $200 for a haircut.

I've been going to Jorells for over 10 years and I must say they are one of the best hairdressers around town! The staff there are friendly but most importantly very good at what they do. Their pricing is reasonable and in my opinion, is good value.

Friendly, very capable staff, with attention to detail. Always go in with just the intent to have a cut or colour etc, and let my stylist have her way! She always does a great job. Minimum time is spent in the salon, and times are not double booked
