Kate has been looking after my brows, lashes and general beauty therapy for a couple of years now. She excels in her profession as a beauty therapist and is a perfectionist. Is very thorough and explains everything clearly. I always leave feeling like a new person and highly recommend her if you want the very best . Thank you Kate for making me feel pretty again .

I followed my wonderful hairdresser Kerrie from another salon to JPs at Morayfield. Yesterday I had my first appointment for hair extensions. They are beautiful. Kerrie matched the colour perfectly and gave me all the information I need to maintain them at home. Kerrie is a genuine, sincere and caring hairdresser with the most unreal skills. My hair always looks great and I recommend everyone to spend some time with Kerrie!

The team at JPS are fantastic, they take time to listen to what look your after, and your needs. They are also very helpful with any questions or problems you have. I had the girls do my hair extensions and also my hair and makeup for my bridal party on my Wedding Day last year and they are fantastic. My Friends now go here too.

I have been going to JPS for about 3 years now, for regular foils and beauty treatments. I have found the service to be nothing but amazing. The ladies are always so happy to help make you comfortable and look like a million dollars. I am always so happy with my hair, I go every 8 weeks to have the regrowth done, my stylist 'extraordinaire' always listens to my requests and needs, my foils always look great and are close to the scalp, and they are long lasting (I am blonde). I also go for regular beauty treatments which are amazing! I am part of the fabulous loyalty program and receive points for free services such as massages, pedicures etc.. I had the JPS girls do my make up and hair for my wedding in October 2010, the service was amazing, me and my bridesmaids, mum, sister in law and mother in law all looked stunning! I recommended JPS to my friend who also had the girls do her make up and hair for her wedding in October 2011, she was very impressed. I recommend JPS to anyone who wants quality for a great price, the atmosphere of the salon is amazing, the girls are all so lovely and happy to help, my foils always look great. I would also recommend the JPS girls for weddings, hassle free they come to you, for gorgeous make up and hair!

i moved to the northside area about 2 years ago,and after many unhappy visits trying to find a new hairdresser that understood what i wanted i finally found this gorgeous boutique salon right near my house,my first visit was very pleasent i found all the staff very helpful and knowledgable. I went in with some photos of a whole new cut and colour in mind,the stylist sat with me and discussed my options of what i could do with my hair,i got foils and a all over colour, the foils were amazing they were really close to my scalp and where the stylist located them really complemented my style cut.i have never had such a good colour and cut,i have recommended this salon to EVERYONE i know,all the staff are lovely and made me feel at home from the very first visit,the owners always put specials on and they get send to me via email every month and i am now on a rewards program where i earn points and get free massages,facials,pedicures once i get enough points.....!!!!!!!and it cost me nothing to join...who wouldnt love that...overall they are all amazing

The range of services offered by this salon is impressive and significant investment has been made in utilising technology to the best advantage eg. online booking service, (very convenient and user-friendly), SMS appointment confirmation service, e-newsletters, social networks etc.
The salon is well designed and appointed – I particularly liked the location of the basins in an area separated from the main area of the salon, away from other clients gawking at you when you're in an awkward position having your hair washed(!). The lounge-style seats and basins are also more comfortable than the fixtures at your average hairdresser.
Great promotions – I took advantage of the January 2012 promotion of a free colour (any colour) with the booking of a stylecut and blowdry. The stylist seemed competent and was friendly enough, but made me feel like I was a bit of an inconvenience on a Saturday morning because they were so busy.
I attended the salon a few days later to advise that I was dissatisfied with the end result; I wasn't happy with the cut or the colour – similar to esmek, the foils were not positioned close enough to the scalp, the end result being what looked like 6 week old foils and a very obvious line of peroxide two inches above my hairline.
The stylist I spoke with on this occasion seemed a little defensive, but made another appointment for me the following Saturday, to discuss exactly what I was unhappy about. I suggested that at least some styling tips would be useful. I had to subsequently cancel this appointment and left a voice message requesting that someone contact me to reschedule.
Overpriced for a suburban salon....and concerning that factual and constructive criticism is not well received.

I have been visiting JPS at Morayfield for a few years now. Julie and her staff are great. I was being cared for by Rachel, but she now manages the Woodford salon. I have greying hair and need regular foils and splices as well as a style cut. The prices are reasonable and the care is great. I receive VIP points which I can exchange for beauty/massage services and they have a great range of hair and beauty products. Great up to date training and my new stylist Bree is superb! Pam and the other girls make you feel so special and offer you regular coffee/tea or cold drinks. A must!

Wow wow wow :) I went here just a few days ago and I can't believe how great they were. I love my cut and colour and I felt special the whole time I was there....literally every 10 minutes they were offering me something to drink. I spoke to every single employee, they all said hello and goodbye.... I felt like I really mattered to them...will be giving the old hairdressor the boot !! Also as a side note I loved it so much I purchased a gift certificate for my mum for christmas.... and as part of a Christmas promotion I got a second gift certificate for the same amount for free !!!! The price quoted is for a cut, dry, wash and colour and I have bum length hair :)

I love the beautiful, clean, modern salon. I love the personalized attention and the variety of beverages offered while I am being pampered. I love the quality products used on my hair. Julie is brilliant at what she does. I have been a customer for years and travel from the other side of town just so she can do my hair. Wouldn't want anything to change.

I have been visiting the salon JPS for over 7 years, both at the Morayfield and Murrumba Downs locations. I have had my hair & beauty services done by all the girls there. They are all FANTASTIC!!
I cant give them enough praise! Kate is the Manager at Murrumba Downs, she was on Napoleon's Creative team and does the most amazing makeups on me. She is so talented! I always get offerd cappacinos, wine and they have a slurpie machine! Always very nice atmosphere, and they do amazing things with my hair. If you are unhappy with your current hairdresser - GO TO JPS, you wont be disapointed!!!!!!

great staff, great service, relaxing atmosphere. even a kids playroom. staff always friendly - the facials are so relaxing in a private room - you almost fall asleep. staff very gentle with eye brow waxing!

I recently visited JPS Hair & Beauty Murrumba Downs for a haircut and colour. As a professional working mum with a toddler, the childs playroom means there is one less stress in arranging "me" time. No distractions for myself or other clients as she was busy playing!

Along with the clean, fresh and professional looking salon the staff made me look and feel beautiful! Even my husband noticed and loved my new hair style! The friendly staff went to the extra lengths of ensuring I knew how to maintain the professional look! I have been searching for some time for a salon that provides honest advice, a range of hair & beauty services and child minding! I have finally found all of that with JPS, thank you!

This salon looks great and feels well furnished and styled to impress. Sadly the service is less impressive. I've been having my hair lightened using foils for about 5 years and was very disappointed with the quality of service and lack of professionalism by the JPS girls. Not only did the stylist not listen to my request regarding the colours i wanted but she failed to place the foil close enough to the root. End result - foils that looked like they were 6 weeks old!
Loved the layout of the salon, very comfortable massage chair at the hair basins, products are good quality brands.
Didn't love the steep price for a suburban salon and disappointed with the lack of attention to detail when placing the foils.

I have been going to jps Hair frever and can't recommend them enough to anyone looking for a fantastic hairdresser. The personalised service is outstanding, they really make you feel special and it is such a relaxing experience.
