this place is tiny but the food are divine. i usually order the jyu jyu box and sushi and its fresh the price is good and the food taste delicious,.no wonder why there busy at lunch

The food is reasonably priced. Taste of food is slightly better than average. The Dine in area is rather tight. During peak, expect to wait at least 20mins.

This is one shop with a huge kitchen/food preparation area but small dining area. For this reason, I have never dined in there but prefer to get take-aways instead. The bento boxes and variety of dons are very reasonably priced and the portions quite generous. Staff are consistently attentive and friendly.

The only japanese in clayton. The place is tiny and did not look very convincing but my friend was craving japanese so we decided to give it a try. It was one tuesday evening and we got there at about 7 PM. There were only 2 other occupied tables at the time. We both ordered bento box. The kitchen staff were busy cleaning up and did not cook our order for at least 20 minutes. When we finally got our orders the time was 7:40 PM and other customers were already gone. One of the staff went to change the sign at the door to CLOSED. WE ate really fast because we felt bad and tried to finish our meal quickly so the staffs could go home. As to the food, it was nothing special and because we ate so fast, we did not really enjoy them.

I am Monash student so the closest Japanese restaurant is Jyu-jyu. I love their bento boxes, they have good gyoza too! The bento boxes is affordable but the portion may be a bit small for guys.
