One of my favourite places for a drink. I've taken many friends here. Plenty of room, across from the cinemas and restaurants. Also close to Westgarth station and the 86 tram pulls up outside (so never an excuse for anyone not to be there). Try the Amaretto Sour or their Pina Colada.

Kelvins epitomises Northcote, The amount for times I have been on a bender in this joint is uncountable not to mention the limited boudaries to conversation and the general feel good attitude of the staff. A very important Northcote icon.

great little place if a bit snooty but great drinks and atmosphere. nice idea with decor being vespa out front and open old record players etc. nice and dark..

The bar has a great ambiance, friendly (if always very busy) staff and a wide range of interesting drinks - their martini selections alone number in the dozens! Highly recommended.

Kelvin is a Northcote institution. Its cosy dark corners are perfect for a winter drink and you can hide away in there for hours oblivious to the outside world. The cocktail list is extensive and the bar staff super friendly. There are tables out on the street for warm summer evenings, but I'd have to say it's more of a cold weather venue.
