Great place for the kids (and the adults) Kids can play and run amok whilst parents can catch up and still be able to see the kids. Staff are friendly and helpful, food is good, parties here are fantastic!

Best place for young kids. Most amazing indoor play centre I have been to. Always love to come back here during the holidays and is very popular place.

Went to a party here once a while ago and had so much! I have wanted to go back for a while but never find them open, or I am just busy. I think this is great for all children as its a lot of fun especially school holidays.

My kids absolutely love it here and are constantly begging to go back. I recommend looking up times when they are open as they seem to be closed a lot. They also do parties which I have heard are fun.

This was the most fun I have had in many years and are constantly want to go back. This is the best indoor playground in Melbourne. There are many kids there but it is probably best for 7+.

I attended Kid Space as a party guest for a younger family member, and I will definitely keep it in mind as a great recommendation for parents looking for either a fun party idea or a rainy day activity.

Kid Space is an indoor playground which caters for toddlers through to 12 year olds. They offer a basic cafe-style seating area for parents or older siblings to enjoy a coffee and chat while children run around exploring the playground.

For the party, Kid Space supplied a range of snack foods and cordials (and water), followed by a selection of hot food. I found that the range of snacks was limited, and they don't allow you to bring your own food or drinks in, which was slightly disappointing. The hot food provided was clearly all out of a box in the freezer - things like party pies, sausage rolls, and mini pizzas - and hot chips were the only meat free option for children who cannot consume meat for religious or health reasons. We had an ice cream cake brought out for when happy birthday was sung (although we were given the option to supply our own cake) and lolly bags were given out (they weren't very exciting, however the rule against bringing food meant that the birthday child's parents couldn't add to them, slightly disappointing)...
The parents of the birthday child were fairly impressed with the pricing of the party (I believe around $200 for the birthday child and 8 guests). As well as this, guests' parents and older guests were able to stay in the party room and purchase additional food and drinks or supervise.

As for the playground itself, the kids seemed to be enjoying it. The most popular attraction was the 6m tall vertical drop slide - however it required parental permission to go on the slide, which meant party guests whose parents had not stayed for at least the first 20 or so minutes, were unable to take part in this fun.

Overall, it was an enjoyable (though noisy) day, and the kids had fun. I would recommend it to anyone in the area looking for some holiday fun or a birthday venue.

This place is so much fun! I went there when I was younger with my family and had an absolute ball! My parents got complimentary coffees because it was a birthday party. I had a great time venturing into the equipment, my favourite was the 6 metre high vertical drop slide. There are many fun things to do, it is a very clean and safe place and the staff were really pleasant to be around.

Approximate cost: $12

My kids love this place. Although it's not very big, it has plenty of equipment to play on. Has individual rooms for birthday parties. And you get a free cuppa if attending one. Food is reasonable and a good variety at the café. Good prices and you can stay as long as you want, but better to get there early to get a table.

Good play centre. A bit smaller, but can be not too busy for parties on the weekend. Kids love all the slides, there are quite a few and a cool drop one that is only open sometimes. Separate area for the littler ones, and the bigger ones love all the slides.
No cooling so hot during summer.
Food same as all the play centres.

When we eventually found Kids Space Hallam, which was not that easy to find, it was quite good, probably suits 12 year olds and up rather than the younger kids, the food was nice. The servicewas reasonable, little bit on the pricey side, but better than some others. It is pretty easy to see your child majority of the time.
