Great place for the kids (and the adults) Kids can play and run amok whilst parents can catch up and still be able to see the kids. Staff are friendly and helpful, food is good, parties here are fantastic!
Best place for young kids. Most amazing indoor play centre I have been to. Always love to come back here during the holidays and is very popular place.
Went to a party here once a while ago and had so much! I have wanted to go back for a while but never find them open, or I am just busy. I think this is great for all children as its a lot of fun especially school holidays.
My kids absolutely love it here and are constantly begging to go back. I recommend looking up times when they are open as they seem to be closed a lot. They also do parties which I have heard are fun.
This was the most fun I have had in many years and are constantly want to go back. This is the best indoor playground in Melbourne. There are many kids there but it is probably best for 7+.
I attended Kid Space as a party guest for a younger family member, and I will definitely keep it in mind as a great recommendation for parents looking for either a fun party idea or a rainy day activity.
Kid Space is an indoor playground which caters for toddlers through to 12 year olds. They offer a basic cafe-style seating area for parents or older siblings to enjoy a coffee and chat while children run around exploring the playground.
For the party, Kid Space supplied a range of snack foods and cordials (and water), followed by a selection of hot food. I found that the range of snacks was limited, and they don't allow you to bring your own food or drinks in, which was slightly disappointing. The hot food provided was clearly all out of a box in the freezer - things like party pies, sausage rolls, and mini pizzas - and hot chips were the only meat free option for children who cannot consume meat for religious or health reasons. We had an ice cream cake brought out for when happy birthday was sung (although we were given the option to supply our own cake) and lolly bags were given out (they weren't very exciting, however the rule against bringing food meant that the birthday child's parents couldn't add to them, slightly disappointing)...
The parents of the birthday child were fairly impressed with the pricing of the party (I believe around $200 for the birthday child and 8 guests). As well as this, guests' parents and older guests were able to stay in the party room and purchase additional food and drinks or supervise.
As for the playground itself, the kids seemed to be enjoying it. The most popular attraction was the 6m tall vertical drop slide - however it required parental permission to go on the slide, which meant party guests whose parents had not stayed for at least the first 20 or so minutes, were unable to take part in this fun.
Overall, it was an enjoyable (though noisy) day, and the kids had fun. I would recommend it to anyone in the area looking for some holiday fun or a birthday venue.
I enjoyed reading your review,It was thorough and very enjoyable to read
This place is so much fun! I went there when I was younger with my family and had an absolute ball! My parents got complimentary coffees because it was a birthday party. I had a great time venturing into the equipment, my favourite was the 6 metre high vertical drop slide. There are many fun things to do, it is a very clean and safe place and the staff were really pleasant to be around.
Approximate cost: $12
My kids love this place. Although it's not very big, it has plenty of equipment to play on. Has individual rooms for birthday parties. And you get a free cuppa if attending one. Food is reasonable and a good variety at the café. Good prices and you can stay as long as you want, but better to get there early to get a table.
Good play centre. A bit smaller, but can be not too busy for parties on the weekend. Kids love all the slides, there are quite a few and a cool drop one that is only open sometimes. Separate area for the littler ones, and the bigger ones love all the slides.
No cooling so hot during summer.
Food same as all the play centres.
When we eventually found Kids Space Hallam, which was not that easy to find, it was quite good, probably suits 12 year olds and up rather than the younger kids, the food was nice. The servicewas reasonable, little bit on the pricey side, but better than some others. It is pretty easy to see your child majority of the time.
I love this place! I went here for my friends birthday party and it was a blast! Everyone had fun, we all love the slides and playground! Yummy food and the kids i was playing tag with had so much fun!
LOVE KIDS SPACE!! This is the ONE place I will take my children let them run wild and have a ball. while I can have coffee with a Girlfriend and feel my kids are safe! Food is GREAT always love the NACHOS!!!
This is my personal favourite playcentre to take my 6 children. The large play structure is great fun for all ages, Ive been down the slides racing the kids many times now! Plenty of things to wear them out and a great toddler area to keep the little ones entertained.
Just signed up to be a Kid Space member and enjoying the great benefits. I have been coming here since my 4 year old was about 7 months old. He and his 2 year old sister still love this place. Im sure he will still love it when he's older too. Its such a great, safe and relaxing place to catch up with other mums and even with Dads whilst the kids have a play. You can even enjoy a focaccia or a parma with your coffee. Definitely will keep coming here for years to come!

We attend Kids Space every Sunday morning with our 10 month old son. We find them to be an extremely clean and well maintained facility. The staff are lovely and very helpful. Great value for money. Highly Recommended compared to the other centres in the area.
Approximate cost: $7.00
thanks for sharing your experience :)
My girls really love it here. It's well worth the trip for me. A free coffee is a WONDERFUL idea and much appreciated. Pick your times though, there is not a lot of parking when it's busy.
One of the best toddler areas around. Thanks ladies, you are great. Elie
When looking for value for money, this is THE BEST place to bring your kids. The menu that is served is fantastic, and is very original.
The only downfall is that the staff ned to keep a closer eye on the toddler area, as alot of older children were able to get in and play rough games.
Approximate cost: $17.00
My kids love Kids Space!! The pricing is good, and the food & drinks are all reasonably priced. Sometimes it gets a bit busy ( school holidays!), but we try and stay away during those times! Maybe a suggestion would be to clean up the place a bit, but other than that its definately our favourite play centre.
Approximate cost: $10.00
What a fabulous indoor play centre. I took my 2 children there recently for a birthday party. I was really impressed by the facilities, there is heaps to do for both toddlers and older children, lots of slides and the like. My kids had a fabulous time there. The staff are very helpful and friendly and I will definitely be back!! It is one of the best play centre's we've been to so far.
It is a great place to take your kids - they are introducing new stuff all the time. The food is great at the cafe, the staff are friendly and helpful.. Very busy place. The only thing I've noticed is the cost of parties is going up for less kids which isn't that great. Overall a great family place to take your kids for some indoor fun (even the adults can get up there too). I've also had a couple of after hours events and highly recommend if you can afford it as you have no worries about where the kids are and what they are doing and even the big kids (us adults) were screaming down the slides as well.
My kids love it here!!! My 3 year old loves the big slides and i can safely watch him whilst having a coffee. My 18 month old happily plays in the toddler area and is happy to be helped onto the big slides with mum!! Prices are reasonable although food prices are a little dear (but what's new!). Great for parties too - even adult ones after hours!! Good aircon and heating to beat the heat/cold.
Certainly a place I'll continue to take my kids.
Free coffee per adult entry too!!

Love this place. Go there at least once fortnight, just not during school holidays.
Food is great, slides are fantastic.... and the toddler area is great.
The children had a ball there's a separate part for the toddlers which is very appropriate for there age group and It was not badly priced .The appearance was very clean although we were sitting there all day and ordered coffee ,lunch and drinks for the children and no one had collected them even after we got up to leave.
Approximate cost: $15.00
I have been to Kid Space many times, and I am never disappointed. There are cheaper places to take your kids, but for what you get it is very good value. The kids love it, it's not cramped, you can spend time in the play area with your kids without having to fit through tiny spaces and you can kick back and relax at a table and observe them without worry.
My daughter had a blast in here and I love the fact that parents can see everywhere from the tables. This is a great way for kids to burn some extra energy and may even let mom have a minutes peace
was great fun, kids had a blast. parents can sit and chat, and still be close to the kids, parents can even go down the slides.... Private party rooms for those wanting a party there
