There's quite a range of swimming pools here including a rock pool, shallow pools for little ones, a large indoor pool and two outdoor pools.

I was initially impressed with the range of facilities on offer here that I enrolled my kids here for swimming lessons.

What a mistake! They lost my paperwork a couple of times after I had already signed forms and paid in advance; the swimming instructor appeared lifeless and unfriendly and did not engage with my kids in a motivating manner; in the showering facilities the water pressure is way too sharp, especially on young children's skin; and last Summer the air inside the large swimming dome was so thick it was unbearable, so hard to breathe especially when I was watching my kids during their swimming lessons.

Subsequently I have enrolled my children for lessons elsewhere.

My oldest son goes to this swimming pool to swim for the Lilydale Swimming Club and I find it to be clean and lots of space to sit down and put your belongs down. There are different types of pools - 50 m pool, rock pools & special pool for lessons etc. There is also an outside pool for the summer months.

Approximate cost: $3.65 per child

Really friendly service. Lifeguards extremely helpful and watchful. The temperature inside the dome was too hot for non swimming patrons.

Approximate cost: $3

Love this pool. It's huge. The facilities are pretty clean, but what you'd expect. Lots of room to put your things and chill out. Can be a pretty warm outside the pool in summer as it's indoors. Very deep at the end, which I love.

Pretty good....but the water is a bit stinky from too much chemicals. Would be a great pool if they changed their water treatment system to be less chemical based

Approximate cost: $4

We take my 18m son for swimming lessons here. We have tried a few different pools, and this one excells. Teachers are fantastic and they have three childrens pools all heated at 34 degrees.

Approximate cost: $30 a month
