if u are fuzzy about fast n cheap service, this is the nice place to go.
the egg chiffon is so nice although it is not the best, but hey, in this petrol war condition.. who can miss this restaurant if u lazy to cook at home?
Approximate cost: $7
I've been eating at King of Kings for about 5 years. The food is good, but it is cheap, so you are probably getting what you pay for. The service is basic, but fast and the look of the restaurant, particularly if you go to the loo isn't that flash. You might have to step over a vacuum cleaner to get to the loo, but you just paid under $10 for a meal and a starter, so you can't really complain.
The egg chiffon on rice was something I'd crave for every single week, but lately the quality has dropped quite a bit. Don't expect too much from this restaurant in terms of cleanliness and service!
If you are really hungry in the city and have seven dollars, go to King of Kings on Russel st and order the Egg Chiffon with BBQ Pork (or any other meat, or veg).
This heart starter is a big sloppy Omlette covered in BBQ pork sitting on a mountain of fried rice. This would be a pretty ordinary meal if it was not for the sauce which accompanies this dish which turns it into something special and no doubt amazingly unhealthy :)
Approximate cost: $7.50
