With so much going on in the world, it's easy to forget some nice places. And this one's still here after all these years! It's a testament to the good food they churn out on a daily basis.
Need to come here more often for their fried rice.

This is like many of the places up and down the rest of Gouger Street so doesn't have anything distinctively unique about it.
The people are dressed nicely and the food comes out reasonably quickly. Quite tasty and good serving sizes.
That's about it. Can't really say much more.

the foods there is quite good, love their hot pot, good service as well. friday and weekends night is pretty much full house but call in last minutes before leaving the house and make a reservation and reach there pretty much get our table :)

Poor customer service, the food comes out quickly but something is always missing from the order. Eg. Have to always ask for cutlery separately and also need to get napkins by myself, and when asked for salt/pepper they took a long time to supply it. I also think the food wasn't very fresh, some of it was cold when it came out, I asked for the dish to be remade but when they replaced the dish it looked like nothing had changed. The food is very oily as well, not impressed overall, won't be coming here again

well, it is not the best Chinese restaurant in china town adelaide, but least their food tasted okay and the price is reasonable. One dish that i will recommend is crispy duck pancake. The duck meat is juicy and the skin is crispy! I would say that the dish is their signature dish. ;)

went with a bunch of my friends and order more than enough food. the food came out at different times which was a little bit annoying as we wanted to sample a bit of each. I think we may have chosen some of the more basic meals because other people in the restaurant had much nicer looking things than we had gotten but that is probably down to knowing what to order. other than that it was nice food and was well priced

I'm pleased to have eaten at Ky Chow and would go back again. The Coral Trout with snow peas dish was exceptionally good but the Mongolian lamb was bland to my pallet. Overall the service was good but parking is an issue.

Ky Chow does cheap asian food really fast really well. The service is quite lacking but the menu makes up for it.

Ky chow is one of my fav chinese restaurants. although ive been told its not authentic chinese, its still ok for a decent meal. Some things on the menu I wouldnt order again, but its really just trial and error. my fav dish is the crunchy sweet and sour beef. like its called, its something i havent found better in any other chinese restaurant ive been to and like seagulls to a chip, its the quick or the dead when you order this. The shallot pancakes are great, the satay beef is nice and the sizzling mongolian dish is quite tasty also. its one of the better eateries around but some really love it and some think its ok...i really love it :)

Nice food. Their duck tasted like KFC.... weird
But at the end of it, I guess it was acceptable. Definitely nothing I'd come back for. But it's a nice place to come if you have a bunch of you and you want something chinesey, however there are better places.
