5 Star! we have been visiting this restaurant for years! always great food and service

I have eaten at KYUSHU countless times over 30 years. Simply the most amazing cuisine. Staff so lovely and truly so reasonably inexpensive.
No bright lights, a warm cozy and friendly environment. Excellent selection of sake which, was generously served. Interesting and diverse menu.
I used to go to this restaurant all the time in the early 90's but then moved away. I went there again today and it is still a great restaurant. Location has changed from the nighties but still close to where it was. It was packed which was a good sign and the menu seemed exactly the same. Ordered all my old favourites..the chicken teriyaki was still as I remembered...delish!
I just recently went there with my friends as she used to go there since long times and she always recommend me to visit this place as I love Japanese food. We have ordered Teriyaki and it was good and delicious.
Nice Japanese restaurant with plenty of seating inside. The food is tasty, especially the beef teriyaki and pork maki. Service is a bit slow (mainly due to the fact that the night I went it was packed).
Approximate cost: $14+
I adore this place. It is small, and always busy. I love sitting at the booth with my husband, I find it cosy and you can just see the chefs behind the tall counter. We like teriyaki chicken and teriyaki beef. The meals are delicious. Not the cheapest Japanese, but definitely one of my favorites.
I have been going here for years and it's always packed which tells me that it's a good restaurant. The food is great. Good service and well priced. I will keep coming back again and again.
Approximate cost: $22
Super busy on the night we visited, so maybe this contributed to the very slow service. Staff ended up serving other later-arriving patrons before we had even been given our menus. Very crammed, as they have squeezed as many tables as humanly possible into the small space. Food-wise, it's not bad, though not mindblowing. Stick to green tea and don't drink coke - they give the smallest, most overpriced glass I have ever seen.
