Larry answered, quoted and organised his visit within 1 hour of when I called (on a Friday afternoon) He was friendly, had the right tools, and charged what he quoted. Don’t waste your time with anyone else. Best experience with a locksmith in Melbourne!

Larry was friendly, quick to respond to my call and even though he was really booked up, (totally understand why he is so popular) he came to fix my broken lock as soon as he had a spare minute. Did an outstanding job and was professional, courteous.

Great locksmith!! Great communication (over email and sms) and came to my apartment on time! He was great at explaining what was the issue I had with my apartment door and fixed it right away. Left the place spotless too!! He also gave me an explanation on how to use my lock properly (without being condescending) which I needed and appreciated. Larry also gave me solid advice regarding the general safety features of my apartment without the upsell! Saving Larry in my home maintenance contacts!!

I couldn't recommend Larry highly enough: reliable, professional, great work, very reasonable price … and such a lovely person to deal with. Larry was efficient, very helpful and very reasonably and competitively priced. He has the Victorian security licence many locksmiths don’t and this was important to me. I appreciated how professional Larry was, and mostly given front and back doors were sometimes needing to be left open while he worked on them, and there were 2 small dogs needing to be securely confined, I appreciated he was very careful to close inner doors each time he had to go through the house, keeping the dogs very safe. I highly recommend Larry, and am actually very relieved that my google search for a locksmith resulted in me happening to find a locksmith I will now always use for any future needs, and recommend to all I know. Great service and very easy to deal with. Larry installed multiple deadbolts and patio bolts and also rekeyed existing locks. All on a Saturday without too much notice! And we have nicely colour-coded keys too :-)
I wouldn't hesitate to call him again if we need any further work done.

Larry gives exceptional service, he has wonderful communication skills. He was prompt on time and friendly. He actually come across as a very happy person who actually enjoys his job. Rare these days to have someone so nice, others could learn a lot about customer service from him.

Larry did a superb job overhauling all of our locks in our new home, including the garage. He also helped to fix a faulty bathroom door, a bad lock on our bi folds and also fixed the front door. He was on time, efficient and very friendly. More importantly, his prices are very competitive (cheap). I highly recommend him.

I contacted Larry to install a deadlatch on our front door. The initial phone call was easy, he worked around my schedule to organise a time, and he responded to my later questions via SMS.

The installation of the deadlatch was complicated due to an odd metal frame, but Larry did a clean and tidy job. He filled and cleaned up minor cuts from the installation process, and everything sits perfectly flush. The work took longer than expected due to these complications, but he charged me the agreed upon price, and even threw in two extra keys.

We're very happy with his professional service and would strongly recommend him to anyone in the area.

I had a door fitted several years ago by Doors Plus but never had the need to lock it. Once I did need to lock it - the lock didn't fit... I contacted Larry and he was very professional, friendly and fast. He fixed the problem. Would be very happy to call him out again should I ever have any lock / key problems.

A quick search lend me to Larry the locksmith, I called, left a message and within 2min he called me back the within 30min from my call I was back in my house. The service was amazing. I'd been putting off getting a lock window fixed in our house for 5 years because I hate dealing with tradesmen. The first quote I got was $265...outrageous. Then I called Larry cos I wanted someone local (Coburg). Larry was helpful, polite and prompt. Best of all the price was a third of the original quote. The job was done in 5 mins and with a smile. As someone who dreads dealing with tradesmen It was a real pleasure to deal with Larry, he replaced the deadlock on our front door after advising us of our best options....Larry is a really friendly guy with a very professional attitude, I'd recommend him to anybody without hesitation.....Thanks again Larry for a job well done.....

After moving in to a new place on the Friday, I managed to lock my keys, wallet and phone in the house on the Friday night. Come Saturday I called Larry the Locksmith and he was there in a few hours and let me know there would be a hundred dollar call out feee. Very friendly guy who got straight on to getting the door open. Once he was in I asked him about several security issues with the house and he was more than happy to talk through the best way to solve them. He also let me know one of the doors had a sticky mechanism so he replaced it and cut me two keys for an additional 10 bucks. 110 so far which is much cheaper than what I expected, especially on a Saturday.

THEN like an idiot I locked the keys in the house again on the following Tuesday. I got straight on to Larry (who I should get a loyalty card from!) and he was over in about 30 mins. It was a completely different door to access this time (two separate parts of the house) but he managed to get the job done by the time I walked the length of the driveway. I then got him to cut another 2 keys for me, he helped with another lock that is old and sticking badly and only charged 90 dollars all up this time (even though the regular call out fee is 100 and he did extra work). I started chatting to him a bit and got talking about websites, which is my line of business, and ended up having a look on his website to see what could be improved. He left with a handshake and my business card.

Overall I'm more than happy with the work performed, the honesty of Larry with what he was doing and costs involved, and overall professionalism and friendliness. Highly recommend putting his number on speed dial if you live in his service area.

Larry changed the locks on our new home and added window locks to all our windows. He keyed all our locks (including the garage) so they all work off one key. He is friendly and trustworthy and always rang and turned up when he said he would. He went the extra mile for us but didn't overcharge for it.
