WATCH OUT, THEY MAKE YOU PRE-PAY FOR LASER HAIR VOUCHERS THEN THEY DON'T LET YOU USE YOUR VOUCHERS UNTIL THEY ARE EXPIRED!

I Bought 10 pre paid sessions for over $1,000 from Laser Hair Clinics Southland. I am on medication for Bi-Polar Disorder, so I was told I was not allowed to use my 10 pre paid sessions.

The Manager (Dayla) would not refund me or come to another resolution and now the new Manager (Hayley) has BLOCKED MY EMAIL. I am so upset! How can they do this to a customer that has done nothing wrong!

I am now taking them to VCAT to get my money back! Then I will be taking it even further!

THIS BUSINESS DISCRIMINATES AGAINST MENTAL ILLNESS!

Approximate cost: $1500

Site staff are not qualified enough not to burn your skin. They are careless and rush through treatment. I've seen two dermatologists since treatment at drummyone, who confirmed I've been burnt by laser treatment.

They've been enslaving their franchisees for ages and no one was doing anything about it as of fear.

Now the truth is out, the truth always comes out.

I was quite happy with this service and equally happy with the results, the staff were friendly and lovely.

I too have been really happy with the results. Very sceptical but very surprised.

Hmmm Very hard to get them to answer the phone They are very busy and when they do answer they seem and probably are, in a hurry. Their staff are not particularly friendly (except for Jenny) Kind of business like, polite but cold. Had some pigmentation spots lasered which didn't work and had to go back twice within two weeks of having them done, then they worked so I don't know what happened there. No problems with this treatment prior to this.
I like Jenny very much, she is the RN who does a terrific job with her injecting but the rest of the staff leave me cold.

I had a a terrible experience on my first visit. But I had pre-purchased several treatments so had no choice but to go back...luckily I had a lovely and experienced therapist the second-time round then an even nicer one on my third.

I originally went looking for an alternative to treatments I've had at 'hair free' clinics because I thought they might be expensive. I found the above recommendation on WOMOW and gave LC a call. Their prices were a bit cheaper. The first thing I thought about LC treatments were they are less painful. At HF they apply a very cold gel before treatment. At LC they 'mark you up' with a highlighter pen, and I kind of felt like a 'piece of meat'. The LC laser is less painful and maybe a bit quicker, but the noise of the laser is quite loud and extremely monotonous. I had both my back and legs done. When the treatment was over, my back didn't feel too bad but maybe that was because my legs hurt like hell. It felt like I was red raw. When she left me to apply the lotion to my legs myself, I was shocked to look down at my legs to see lots of bleeding area's where they'd cut me with the initial shaving process. I'd used a clipper to cut back my hair short, but it had to be shaved clean. She told me they normally charge $29 for this, so maybe that's why they did a 'slap up' job? Now the laser treatment was over all the skin on my legs was bright pink!! Except for all the orange lines left by the highlighter pen. I could hardly move. When I applied their lotion it seemed to hurt even more! The lotion was supposed to remove the pen marks but my skin hurt so bad, I couldn't rub hard enough, or thoroughly to remove it. As I left the clinic to cross the road, I felt like I had gone 2 mins on a bronco bull, I could hardly walk back to the car. I had to go home for a shower to clean off the texta and blood, then re-apply more of their lotion. The burning sensation didn't go away and the lotion seemed to inflame my skin. I looked at the label to see it contains alchohol... WTF? I had to go to work and put this pain out of my mind... It's the next morning now, and my legs STILL hurt like hell!!! I've had 2 treatments at Hair Free and both times I didn't have this result.... I won't be going back to LC and totally condemn them. I wouldn't piss on them if they were on fire, because that's how bad my legs feel!!!

Approximate cost: $700

I've been having laser hair removal at Laser Clinics Australia for several months now and am almost finished with my treatments. They use Candela medical grade lasers which are the safest and most effective lasers used in Australia. The staff are all highly trained and very efficient. The treatments are much quicker than waxing and less painful and really do reduce hair growth.

Yes I agree they are quite good, I have been to a few different branches of theirs and the lasers seem to have visible results over time, they seem to be more effective than other laser brands of laser clinics that I have been to. It's been promising so far.
