Depending on the time of day you may find it near impossible to access enough room to do laps here, of an early morning you will find most of the pool available for laps and many like minded people but during summer the pool is over run with families, schools and children in general - they are given the majority of the pool and as such lanes for laps become crowded. A nice pool but pick your times wisely

i have only been to the swimming center a few times since opening. Once leisurely with my daughter and other times with school swimming lessons. On all occasions i came out with a headache as it is very hot in there. It is so hot some days it takes your breath when you first walk in and the chlorine mixed with the heat makes your eyes sting. In saying that though my daughter had a lot of fun playing in the leisure pool and kids water fun area. The prices arent to bad. i think it cost us $3 for my daughter to swim but i didnt like that i had to pay $2 to go in even though i wasnt swimming. The school swimming lessons My daughter had up there was really good and they taught her so much. She went from a child scared of water to being able to get in the deep pool. The center is quite large so it doesnt matter if alot of people are there.
