Lee made me feel so comfortable! Even though I had never painted before she made it so easy to understand step by step. The results were amazing! I can hardly wait to do another workshop with her! I was a complete beginner to painting and there were a couple of times I felt a little overwhelmed, however, Lee patiently guided and encouraged me and I came home with a lovely painting. Not bad for a 75 year old first timer.

Lee is a great tutor for an art experience. She is very patient and gently helpful. At one stage I became overwhelmed by the task at hand and she encouraged me to keep going.

I have never painted a full canvas before with any medium.

I came to Lee's Two Day workshop from Perth. What a wonderful experience. I felt like part of the family. I've never had a brush in my hand before and I completed a whole painting! Sad to go home. I want to come back soooon!

I work with flowers everyday and have been wanting another challenge. Lee's workshop certainly gave me that challenge... it was the best two days filled with new skills, positivity, laughter and surrounded by lovely art and people. I was a bit worried at the start at how my piece would turn out... but i am blown away at how much i achieved over the two days. All thanks to Lee, who is a fabulous teacher. She has amazing patience and makes you feel comfortable and confident every step of the way. I just wish i could make everyone pop along and do this class... it is the best two days you will spend, in a warm and inviting environment. Whats best... is you learn a new skill and get to take home a painting to be proud of! I cannot recommend this enough... a week later and i'm still itching to pickup a paint brush again :)

I came to Lee's workshop today with no previous painting experience. I was a little nervous to say the least!... but Lee created such a safe and judgement free atmosphere that my concerns quickly faded away. And believe it or not I created a masterpiece that I am proud of!

Lee's workshop was a really pleasant experience! I was able to learn the techniques of painting with acrylics. I felt like I achieved a lot! I now have the confidence to continue painting at home.

Had a fantastic day painting with Lee Teusner as our instructor. She has a depth of artistry and communication style that was apparent as she skillfully guided me (and the group) through the steps and techniques required to complete our paintings and any emotional hiccups along the way. Although a day of intense focus, by the end of the day i was extremely proud of my final result. If you enjoy painting, even if you are a beginner like me, and like a challenge, i would highly recommend this course with Lee.

The very act of purchasing Lee's art titled "Adornment" brought on heighten sense of excitement for me. I was like a kid in the candy shop that July 2013 night at Lee's exhibition at the Artisans of Barossa. The next morning and ensuing days I was still happily talking to my friends all over the world how talented Lee's artworks are and how much joy I have looking at the piece that I bought.
