Dined at Linda's for the first time the other night and will definitely be back for more. It was simply the best dining experience I have ever had in Newtown. In an "eat street" that is saturated with look-alike and taste-alike Asian restaurants it was such a pleasure to discover a place that specialises in French-style dishes and which prepares them with simplicity and style. I can understand why the restaurant was packed and why unlucky latecomers were being turned away.

Once inside I knew it was going to be a good night!
Contemporary cuisine and very reasonable prices!
The restaurant is one of the best I have been to and the service was very good.
The food is mouth watering and my favorite dish is the Lamb shanks braised with tomato, oregano & olives- with parsnip.

I went here for a friends birthday recently. The group I was with raved about this place but I was left a little disappointed. The food is tasty - the garlic mushrooms very tasty. But, they pack everyone in like sardines, and the noise level is too much given you have people yelling over each other to try to be heard because everyone is so squished.
