I placed an order for some towels that was $165+$10 shipping and realised I had accidentally selected the wrong colour.
I emailed the store while the towels were in transit and was referred to their garbage ‘change of mind’ policy.
The policy outlined that if I wanted to exchange the towels for a different colour I would be charged an additional $100 + only receive a 75% credit for my original order (excluding shipping).
It would have cost me ANOTHER $161.25 in total to exchange the towels.
On what planet does it seem fair to pay $336.25 for some $165 towels?
This place is a sham. Please look out for this review on other platforms.

Absolutely appauled by the service of this business. AFter two weeks of attempting to make an order, leaving countless emails and phone messages I finally made contact with a store person. From there, I was treated so appaulingly, asked to prove I had called, left messages and emails. I was told if I was so unhappy with not having my messages returned, perhaps I shouldnt buy from them! My goodness, never left a review for a store that was kind, but this was such a horrific experience, Im just horrified. Tim Bowring your online products looked wonderful, but the staff is another story, especially the manager Edwina who spoke "at me" with such accusation I was shaking and moritified by the experience. All I want to do was spend a few thousand dolloars with your business! Never again.

Very poor customer service. Wood grain looked nothing like on their website big square pieces that looked like they had been stuck on the table. Package arrived in the worst condition I have ever seen covered in bugs, dirt and large stones that had scratched the table. They will not speak to me and hang up when I call. This company should not be in business I have never seen such poor customer service ever. Carton indicated goods had come from Indonesia. Buyer beware. Total value of goods I purchased from them over $11k.

Order placed at the start of August. Part of this order was shipped, but one part was not. I followed up and was told it would be sent shortly and I would get a tracking number. That was 10 days and two follow up emails ago. I have requested a refund, but that request goes unanswered by the business owners.

It has been 3 weeks and we still haven't received our item. Living by design is telling us to wait. I will not shop here again. Very poor customer services and logistics.

We placed an order for 8 chairs in October 2020 (paid freight for their delivery here too), knowing the ETA of our chairs was a month later. November came and went so we contacted the company for a new ETA in December 2020. No firm information was given, other than 'shouldn't be too far away, they're very close'. Another month passed with no contact from the company. We asked the same question and received the same reply. Fast forward to January 2021 and we were tired of waiting. Not once did this company contact us and not once were we given firm information. Now even if the chairs are on a container shipment & coming by sea, you do know an approx ETA so 'they shouldnt be far now' does not suffice. As a last attempt at a resolution between us and this company, we said we understood the current climate (i.e. Covid has caused issues) however we would like the bulk of our $1196.97 payment returned, and to leave a deposit until the chairs arrive. By this stage we had become most uncomfortable with this business holding over $1000 of our money. They refused to entertain this so we requested a refund. The refund was forthcoming however given the long delays we went through, it was sad to see they were unwilling to waver in order to meet in the middle and accommodate us for the huge delay.
The big concern is no forthcoming contact from them at any point. We wont be back and do not trust them. Be careful with your money..
