Unsafe zero supervision

Most unsafe place with zero supervision for kids playing. First (and last) time there for my son today, attending a school mate birthday and he got hit badly on his back by another boy riding a baby scooter (a toy car) on a slide which made him fall on his back again and hit his head on the floor. That was not supposed to happen of course if there’s any kind of supervision as it’s totally a stupid irresponsible and prohibited act from this boy which may have resulted in serious injuries to my son. When we arrived there we kept waiting for any staff to appear, until a girl waved for us to enter then disappeared again. We haven’t seen her more than 5 min in the full hour we stayed there and there was no one else from the staff except her, absolutely no supervision for around 40 kids playing irresponsibly in a very unsafe manner and environment as there were few toy cars and other objects not supposed to be available for kids to use on slides even sometimes throwing them at each other.

I've been a few times to confirm my disappointment. On close inspection, the equipment and netting is damaged, dirty, torn or mended poorly with Gaffa tape. It's a liability for the kids. I think money needs to be spent in bringing this place up to scratch, at least for safety reasons. Staff is very minimal (one staff member doing everything) to the point of being ridiculous. Food is average and my coffee order was completely forgotten.

The play area is great. My kids play on the equipment and then always seem to relax in the dress up area. Mums can sit back and have a yummy lunch while there kids play and there is no mess to clean up.

I had a terrible experience. On my first and only visit I was met by a lady behind the counter with a dry face and refused to return my smile. I paid and was about to enter when i was told to hand over y bag to be searched for food. When I pulled out all the food I had and advised her i had no more in there she said i must hand over my bag for a search or be refused entry. Being my fisrt visit I was unaware of the no food policy and would not have minded my bag being searched if i was kindlyt advised of the policy and asked politely if my bag may be searched. The same lady served me when i was ordering coffee and still had the dry face and terrible customer service skills. As this happened as soon as I waslked in the door it wrecked my entire experience and I will never return again. The manger was great but he needs to train his girls better and teach them some manners. i wasn;t the only disgruntled customer that day!
