Overpriced with no atmosphere. 25 for a clipper cut. Reception needs customer training. Used to be a great place.

I'm wrapped that I have finally found a barber in Ballarat who I am really happy with. They take the time to do the job properly. You pay a little bit more than at a budget hairdresser, but in this case, you really do get what you pay for. Paula did an amazing job. Highly recommended!

Went with 3 young kids in tow and they were shown the same courtesy as me and offered drinks and a game on the space invaders machine. Friendly staff, good advice and a schmick haircut in a nifty, entertaining environment with beer on offer. I've never been a fan of haircuts (used to simply shave my head) and refused to go anywhere I couldn't just walk in and sit down, but I actually look forward to going to L&Ls. And they know beards!

Mid 20's male. Asked for a cut that made my hair really short and followed my jawline. Ended up with the generic undercut that little boys are getting now. Paid top dollar for this, as well as a razor shave that left many parts of my face abrasive/untouched. At least the staff were friendly.

If you are a Lord or a Lad and need a haircut, THIS is the place to go! The staff were very welcoming, friendly, keen to please and made 4 haircuts in one hit (hubby and 3 sons) seem like a breeze. We were passing through Ballarat on hols and the haircuts and a visit to Lords and Lads have turned out to be a 'highlight' for the boys. Sadly, Ballarat is too far to visit for regular haircuts from the Blue Mountains NSW! Great (plunger) coffee, a fantastic arcade game for the boys to muck around on while they waited, and comfy chairs - sigh - why would you go anywhere else? Fantastic customer service - thanks thanks thanks! Did I mention the plunger coffee???!!!

Excellent haircut from Zoe. Despite being incredibly vague about what I'm after, she always seems to get it exactly right. Very happy with her.

I'd give extra points (if I could), if they did not put commercial radio on.

Last minute haircut for my 3yo son. Called for Saturday morning appointment and got straight in. Patience with my testing son was exceptional and the quality of the cut was great! Very friendly staff and cool, fun atmosphere all round. Will definitely be back.

I'm a guy and it was nice to find a friendly and helpful barber shop (with an awesome premises!). Cut and colour, good price and the style actually looked like it did in the style book! They don't leave dye smudges all around your hair line and will actually help you find a hairstyle if you're undecided.

Congrats to L & L I might actually get a haircut more often than once a year now!
