A chain sushi restaurant that has somehow managed to get a reputation for being exceptional. The sushi is just like every other sushi place in the city, and the same as other branches.

Yet people queue for no particular reason. Avoid the queues and go to the other places that sell sushi for the same price with better quality.

There's often a queue outside this place. There's a good variety of sushi (its not often I see grilled eel sushi and I'd recommend this as a must try, very tasty). I also recommend the chicken karage.

If there is a line up out the door and down the street it's usually a sign of something good - and the sushi here is fantastic.

The turn over is so high that the food is always fresh - sometimes the rice doesn't even have time to get cold!

Excellent value for money.

Excellent takeaway sushi at great prices. Queues can be quite long at lunch but the service is so efficient, it never takes long to get served. I love the spider rolls.

Without a doubt the best sushi I have ever eaten - and judging by the usual lunchtime lines, the rest of the city agrees as well! The ingredients are just so fresh and they have all the usual varieties along with some unique kinds like fresh kingfish complete with a little slice of lemon. Every single item I've had from LR Sushi has been exceptional and well worth lining up for. Even better, all the rolls are $2 (unlike the typical $2.50-$3 other places charge these days). Amazing value and of course the taste is unrivalled!

This place is amazing. Forget Sushi Sushi and the other chain brands - this places sets a standard. They offer at least 15 different kinds of PACKED, I mean, generous and huge sushi rolls, from salmon, tuna, tofu, mushroom, soft shell crab etc etc and they're all 2.50 each. You know this place is good as there is nearly always a line snaking it's way down the street. If you like sushi, and you like a cheap feed - run, don't walk, to this sushi bar!
