Worst eva still waiting on response

Really, really unhappy with this service. paid $307 and $1400 for new air-conditioning and its not working .
Macanic said he will come back to me to just drive as is ,why then did I pay for a new air-conditioning. No response for several emails

Still waiting for a response to below mail.

And things just got worse.

On Tuesday my car was once again repaid by lube and its has been a disaster 

The mechanic arrived 1.5 hours late.

Quoted me on the repairs $800

Told him to go ahead.

Called me 1 hour later told me it was $1400 told him I was unhappy as he quoted $800 twice before,he said well I said $800 so $800 it is .

While I was at work he called 4 hours later to say I need to pay $1907 to this I was in shock..I explained that I had budgeted on his quote,his response was that he is new at the company only 2 months and forgot the Labor costs .

I explained that I would not have done the job just yet had I know that price as I just arranged the $800.

The mechanic said well he will pull everything out of my car and I'll see what I get when I' get home. 

This had all been horrific. 

I.now don't know what he has done to my car.

And awaiting a reply from any one to help in this situation.

Good day 

Had my car serviced yesterday 

My main concern was the squeeking noise. 

Turns out the fan belt was the reason for the noise ,today while driving to work the car overheated and I had to stop on the highway,unsafe, stressful and very scary, for 5.5 hours. after 5.5 hours was towed home ,the racq looked and said I have no fan belt.that's the cause of my breakdown and they don't think it's anything to do with the air-conditioning,surly this would have been picked up by your macanic that the belt was faulty ,used or lose.

I asked him to check the belts as my work colleague said it sounded like a belt.

I'm just a little sad that I had to go though this all today when that's exactly why I call for help from Your company yesterday to avoid any breakdown. 

I feel today's horror could have been avoided and yet it was not .

I believe my car needs a fanbelt now.

Please advise when a macanic could look at it as I need it repaired as I go to work everyday. 

Please could I ask for a different chap to look at the car on Monday as this has all just left a bad taste in my mouth and would like it resolved .

Never use them. Obsence overcharging. Toyota Coil needed changing. booked for 10-12 am. did not turn up on time. eventually turned up at 4. kept customer waiting. did not bother to ring up to let me know of lateness. had to follow up twice. motor mechanic came diagnosed problem, needed coil change. asked him if he had the part. he said no. said he would check the price. got his ipad and then keyed in details and said $301! I said very expensive, is it original part. he said yes. i said toyota car yard at Taringa. he said yes Indooroopilly, i said no Taringa, and he said they are the same. asked me to authorise on his ipad to buy the part. so i did. then off he went with my car key. came back and installed the coil, probably took him 2 min to install. i managed to have a look at the part brand (DENSO) before he shut the bonnet. then presented me with his ipad for signing again, total price $460!! call out $84 + Installation $34 + coil OEM $301 + GST!!. how misleading is that quoted coil $301 but did not tell me GST to be added on ie actually was $331! felt a bit suspicious with the brand and coil price so, i did a check on the internet. i literally fell off my chair! the most expensive price for the coil i could find was $148 (freight free!!) most were around the $48 mark! what a huge margin they had added on ($283 on $48). rang back to complain. management told me the price they charged me was correct and i should not compare with internet prices, because they take time to arrive, etc, etc, the usual lame explanation and further, they give 12 month warranty and if anything goes wrong they would fix it for free. the mechanic told me that he got the part from Repco, Indooroopilly (10 minute drive from my place) and that's the retail price, i could ring up and check. check i did; i rang up the Repco store and they quoted me $220. i couldnt believe, and asked them to repeat. they said $220 including GST!! i am an RACQ member and should get a 10% disc off that so cost to me $198. Rang back and complain again and expected a credit for excessive markup. management told me the price they charged me was "Lube National Retail Price"!! so, all the while they gave me the impression that it was the real retail price (worst case Repco's retail price). they got it from Repco at trade price (probably $150) and then they added another 50% to Repco's retail price and call it retail price, what a reap off!! the management said that they had not done anything wrong, i had agreed to the price by signing on their ipad, he had proof of that.problems here are these: 1) did not get the original part from Toyota, 2) charged $38 for a 2 minutes installation job, in addition to call out fee of $93, 3) excessive Price gouging on the part $331 on a part that cost $55 on the internet ($276 margin)! the appropriate authority should do something about these cowboys! NEVER use them.

I used Lube Mobile for the first time today for a 40,000km service. Michael (V42) was my technician. He sent me a message to say he was on his way and arrived on time. He was very friendly and approachable and took the time to explain everything to me. He was not pushy at all and went about his work happily and efficiently. I am a great believer of giving credit where credit is due and can not praise Michael enough! I would have no hesitation in recommending Lube Mobile and wIll definitely be using them again for my next service. Thank you for great customer service Michael :)

They guy who came to service my car showed up on time (phoned to say he was on his way), explained things simply and told me the exact price before doing anything to my car.
