My husband's food was delicious. He had a t bone steak with mushrooms, chips and lettuce leaves ( I wouldn't call it a salad). I ordered a fisherman's basket, with chips and salad (got lettuce leaves). Mine was literally in a basket with the sauce pored on the side. The seafood was cooked in a deep fried batter - greasy. The squid rings were not battered and were the rest. I asked for a sweet white wine, I got a dry white wine which was the only kind they had! I would be really disappointed if I had to pay full price, luckily I had my ACCOR Advantage plus card, which got me 50% off the menu. I wouldn't go there again.

This is our second time here but first time for lunch. The view was picturesque and the ambiance in the restaurant was very pleasant and service was friendly and efficient. I asked to change table as the first table was too drafts and the waitress called Eden changed it immediately, with a smile.

We shared a bruschetta entree, which was ok, but for $14, we were hoping for more than one piece of bread. It certainly wasn't good value though it tasted nice.

For mains, I had the pork belly with crackling, served with mashed potatoes ($32.50) The portion was large, crackling had crunch and not chewy, and the meat itself was well cooked and fell apart with a fork. delicious!

My partner ordered the special of the day, which was swordfish with prawn and mussel putanesca($38). The dish seems incomplete as there was an abundance of sauce with nothing to mop it up with, esp since the sauce had a tad of spice to it. It was not very good value as there were four small prawns, and four small mussels in the putanesca.

overall I would return again as it was generally pleasant dining and portions were mostly generous.

M on the point can be quite popular, so its best to get in early for a good seat.
The lovely staff are very polite and happy to serve your order.
The drinks and foods are a little pricey but well worth it just for the view.
A lovely quiet beer on M on the foreshore is lovely and relaxing.

Been here a few times. Great in summer to have drinks and nibbles with mates overlooking the estuary. You can sit inside or out which is good if you have kids with you. Reasonable prices and staff are friendly :)

Great place for a drink or two and a feed. Great customer service and a nice view as well. All fairly priced and the option to sit on the foreshore, or to sit inside. I highly reccomend M on the point for Crab Fest.

I revisited this place last Saturday after a year and a half. The atmosphere was great...bustling but not too noisy (unless you are in the pub section). The three of us shared two entrees of salt and pepper squid and mushroom bruschetta. I must say I was a tad dissapointed with the portion when it was served, given that the prices were about $14.50 each. We were only given 1 piece of bruschetta, albeit overflowing with mushroom. The squid was yummy but again, small portion.

When the mains came, wow! The portions were very generous. We had the roasted chicken with potato rosti, pork belly (very crunchy skin), served with mash and crab risotto with lobster bisque (I am a big fan of lobster bisque). They were delicious and we could hardly eat another morsel more.

But we did share a piece of red velvet cake. Very big slice of cake indeed and if you are a fan of Turkish delight, you would like it.

We were very satisfied with the meal and the service was good, especially from the Supervisor (a nice looking fella too). Only one little snag, the waitress took a long time to return the credit card to us for signing the bill.

We have decided that we could certainly return again, and just have the mains and dessert (not the entree as I think it is not worth it paying $14.50 for 1 piece of bread.

Great location on the water edge!! Love coming here for a few drinks on a sunday afternoon. Food is ok and reasonably priced, the roast pork roll is a good choice. Can get very cold and windy outside so take a jacket if planning on sitting outside.

Approximate cost: $25-30
