Malabar is one of the restaurants in darlinghurst with the highest number of likes... And they absolutely deserve it! Delicious, fresh, and healthy tasting food from south India. Brilliant customer service... The owner served me and spent a great deal of time talking to me about the menu and the restaurant. As a lone female diner, travelling with work I was made to feel thoroughly welcome. Will be heading back there during every business trip back here.

Some of the best curries I've ever had... and priced around $15 to $21 for a main. Although self-described as a "The Dosai Palace" I'm not a huge fan of Dosai myself. But there are plenty of other choices that aer deliciousm, generous, filling ... and the floor to ceiling photos on the walls are amazing.
