We shopped around and found that ‘Man With A Van’ had a website which thoroughly interrogated what needed to be moved. They followed up with a call to get an understanding of the type of house/apartment we were moving to and from. We had a big truck in mind (another removalist quoted for a big truck) and after they considered the availability of parking and width of the street servicing the house, they decided to use a ‘small’ truck. They made the right call; a larger truck would never have been able to negotiate the narrow street to get close to the house. The house we moved to has two flights of stairs, the first to the kitchen/dining/ lounge areas and the second flight to the bedrooms and bathrooms. Knowing what was ahead of them, Cooper and Lance, from Man With A Van, turned up bright and early and didn’t flinch at the task. We were quoted a seven-hour job and were advised that it would likely take two trips, which indeed was the case. They did a fantastic job and finished the move in a mere five and a half hours, which meant that we were charged less that the original quote. Cooper and Lance lugged a top loading washing machine up the stairs only to find that the European laundry was too small, so they had to bring it back down again. Their enthusiasm wasn’t dampened, and they continued with the same enthusiasm as they had at the beginning of the day. We were daunted at the thought of moving house, but it proved to be fine thanks the professionalism and knowhow of Cooper and Lance and the organisation supporting them.
I highly recommend Man With A Van for your next move.

Had a fantastic experience with Man and Van this week which had a tight turn around due to apartment having set times for lift bookings. The removalists were very professional and courteous, making sure they took care with all of my items. They moved everything very efficiently with the total move completed well ahead of the estimated time. I researched other removalists that claimed they are cheaper or had a cheaper hourly rate though after reading many reviews and horror stories, I choose Man with a Van and was very happy with their service.

These guys made our move so easy! Stress free and quick. They were just excellent. They were early, straight into it, knew what they were doing and so efficient - we ended up paying less than the quote! They quickly problem solved when our new neighbour unexpectedly parked his van in front of our place and had disappeared for the day with the keys. The boys were excellent. They were early, called before hand to check if that was ok. The whole process was terrific. From getting the quote, to organising the date time etc and the move, all completed with ease. The removalists worked so efficiently, were friendly but focused on the job at hand and excellent to deal with. They finished earlier than expected so were cheaper than the original quote.
