These guys just moved from St Kilda from Fitzroy and I just wanted to jump straight on here and say they are brilliant. While there was a travel charge, but they gave me the heads up on that, the whole thing worked out pretty cheap considering I didn't have to lift a finger, apart from unlock the doors and tell them where to put stuff. They turned up when they said they would and they managed to move double fridge, no hassle and worked as fast and hard as they could - they didn't take a break. They got the whole thing done in just under three hours, you could tell they weren't stalling for extra $$, pretty spot on with what they quoted me over the phone. I'd recommend moving on a weekday if you want to save some money.

These guys are friendly, focussed, quick and very low hassle. I've used them three times, once with one person the other times with two. They take a lot of pride in their work and the people they send always seem happy to be there. On one move I had a lot of art work i needed them to move and they took extra care with this and some of the other delicates. The last time got to ride in the van with them too, that was pretty good because my car was getting serviced. I was surprised they didn't stink given I was their last job for the day! Definitely recommend if you want a headache free move.

Man with a van helped us move house across Melbourne. This was our final move after moving between three countries with six individual moves over the last two years. Without doubt, these guys provided the best service we have had over all these moves and they even came in under budget. Superb- thanks guys!

We had Angus and Sam help with our move and they were extremely friendly and professional. It's nice having movers who know what they are doing and work really quick. We'll be using them again if we have to move in the future. Definitely would recommend Man with a Van without blinking an eye!

I used man with a van removalists only on one occasion...they were moving my bedroom (1 queen bed, 2 small bedside drawers, 1 large mirror drawer, mattress) and some furniture for studio room (1 tall book case and 1 tall study table with book shelves)... They charge $100 per hour... No scratches on my furniture and they were polite, but not quick as you would expect in my (opinion)... It took 2.5 hrs to move everything and they do charge driving time from their depot, so my cost was over $350.00...I wasn't happy for charging this hidden cost for sure as no one mentioned it when I was given a quote...so cost came up to 3.5 hrs...not sure if that is fair, but if you like to use it as they are really careful with removing, then ask what they are actually charging...

Moved a fridge and oven (both big and very heavy) up an awkward flight of stairs into the kitchen. They were on time, quick, friendly, polite and moved my things with care. I was really happy with their work.

Moved with these guys in Oct 2011. I can't recommend them enough. I was moving out of a very volatile situation which was explained to the company at time of booking. They followed my requests to the letter, were on time, polite, organised and worked like crazy men to get it done quickly. They ended up finishing much earlier than I'd been quoted, saving me money, and even had time to put my furniture together. Cannot say enough good things about them - from start to finish, the service was outstanding. If you need something moved, use Man with a Van.
