As well as being an exceptional dental surgeon, Dr Amanda Ho has the patience of a saint. Nobody enjoys the invasive nature of dentistry but Amanda seems able to calm us edgier patients and even minimise the fear factor. What a blessing! I have been a patient for over 10 years and have always been treated very well by all staff members. Even though I try to avoid dentistry as much as possible, I have recommended Manchester Rd Dental surgery to various people in the past and will continue to do so.

When I read reviews, I like to go back a “number” of years in order to get a better “feel” of the organisation or person I will be dealing with. If you are like me, you may have spotted a review I wrote on 2 October, 2015!
I believe most people write a review and leave it at that, BUT, has the review writer continued to have a “positive experience” on subsequent visits? For example, I reflect on a positive review I wrote for work done on our home. Three-plus years later, an issue we discovered later, has still not been fixed! Hence, consider this one an update, i.e., has my positive experience remained sustainable?
The short answer is “Yes”. Based on those earlier experiences, have I done what I thought I would do at that time? Again, the answer is “Yes”.
Dr Amanda Ho “remains” to be my favourite Dentist. I “do” action the Reminder Letter I receive rather than file it in “the Bin”. All the accolades I wrote about her at that time: disposition, skills, communication, etcetera, remain at that same level of excellence; she has not “dropped the ball”.
I can add that through happenstance, and prior to my seeing Dr Ho, my wife sees Dr David Rivadillo and has also basically related to me the same praises for him as I have written for Amanda. (Given we have been married for almost 42 years, I believe I can write that on her behalf.) It would be remiss of me if I did not also give suitable accolades to their Staff…from Reception to Dental Nurses! Top job from them all.
So, what does this all mean? It means that, in my case, three years down the track, I and my wife can still attest that there is a highly-qualified and caring Dentistry team available to the community of Mooroolbark (and beyond). We would highly recommend that, if you are not “really happy” with your current Dentist and their service(s), do yourself a favour and make your next appointment at this practice.

As a new patient having been recommended to attend Manchester Road Dental I couldn't be happier. Dr David has been fabulous. Caring, gentle, personable and with fantastic reassuring communication skills. Nothing is a bother and he explains everything before and after he proceeds in terms easily understandable. He constantly checks if you are ok during the procedure which is really reassuring. I have also had the pleasure after 2 visits of experiencing 2 different dental nurses and they have both been warm, caring and very professional a real credit to the practice as are all the office staff. My son and husband have also been seen by Dr David and they both felt at ease and totally looked after by the team.
