Chris, my hairdresser, was superb both with his craft and his customer service. Highly recommend a trip to Manhor for any guy worth his grain of salt.

Make this your salon! Easily at the 'cutting' edge of hair and grooming for men. Great staff add to the vibe that this trendy and slick salon gives off. An excellent range of services go hand in hand with a strong product range on offer also. Must be tried.

Approximate cost: $50-60

leg wax and hair color:
- leg waxing extremely slow (1 hour), made by a tediously chatting girl (while I was working with my mobile);
- hair color of extremely bad quality (it burnt my hair), done unprofessionally (no rinse first, hubbub to find a towel after, first couple of millimeters still WHITE, they stained almost irreparably my MALO sweater in an obviously very visible way and didn't tell a thing);
all this for the beauty of 115 AUS $
- they promised but didn't offer in the end the discount for the first-time clients, nor that advertised for being there on Wed between 12 and 2pm.
extremely bad and costly experience, wouldn't recommend to my worst enemy.

Approximate cost: $115 aus $

Matt as Director of Manhor Mens Grooming Lounge we thank you for all feedback. WE have now enjoyed 5 years in specialising in delivering a premier product designed for men to over 8000 guys. Despite this, I am extremely dissatisfied you have not enjoyed what most would regard as a welcomed host of treatments for most men. I strive for excellence and be rest assured would love to invite you back to discuss in a in depth consultation the hair color product you had applied is ultimately a color rinse which disguises and stains the grey and doesn't offer a blanket coverage. This product color camo offered by redken is a ten minute process rinse off which unless highly sensitive scalp is unlikely to experience slight irritation but not burning. We apologise for the waxing taking close to an hour as my therapist stated it was difficult to perform in given time as you were preoccupied with the mobile which delayed the process. I hope to further discuss with you and demonstrate Manhor Mens Grooming Lounge Melbourne CBD with a new outlook on our experience.

Good afternoon,

With regard to the review of my unpleasant experience at Manhor on Collins, I cannot but confirm its content and my unwillingness to try it again. The message of Rob does not properly address the issues raised in my review; rather, it attempts to drop on me part of the responsibility for the poor service received - which is quite unacceptable.

1. As of the coloring. I dye my hair regularly at one of Milan's best hairdressers (Intrecci), and I never experienced, after the coloring, the uncomfortable sensation of thick, hard and hardly manageable hair endured for almost two weeks (and many conditioning shampoos) after the treatment at Manhor.
In addition, the dye itself was done unprofessionally, as the day after the treatment a couple of millimeters of white hair was still white.
Lastly, the color was probably of poor quality, as it kept stinging on towels for over a week - thing which never happened to me before, ever (and which constituted further damage per se).

2. As of the waxing. Since when sending text slows the leg waxing process down? Truth is the girl couldn't stop twittering and bombarded me with questions on Europe - as she was supposed to go there some time soon. I confirm that the service was, moreover, poor indeed, as the quantity of broken hairs I currently have on my legs (while waiting for them to grow sufficiently to have a proper waxing) is unseen - at least in my experience.

3. As to what has not been replied to. Despite washed in-house first and professionally afterward, the white Malo sweater (value: over 500€) I wore that day is compromised for good: the many and big stains of color just won't go. It is a deadly sin, as a customer, not only the damage produced against me but, above all, the fact that such stains were impossible to miss while I was there - and yet no one said anything. No one asked me to take the sweater off; no one told me about the damage; no one offered some professional cleaning; no one is offering some appropriate compensation (and I am way too busy to deal with the issue legally - despite being a lawyer, and being very right in this case).
Moreover, Manhor's director (which quite royally expresses himself in the 'we' form), does not reply to the fact I have been unduly overcharged: either as a first-time customer or as a customer being serviced at 1pm I should have enjoyed a discount - which, instead, I never got.

In other words, I fail to see any reason, in light of the reply received from the director of Manhor on Collis, to change my review or to try again the service there.
In my eyes, the reply actually worsened the situation.

Hoping this will finally settle the case - despite I understand not in the way you might have wanted,
Best wishes,
M.I.
