Locky, our 4 YO pet greyhound was attacked in Wynnum North off leash area at 4.40 in the morning. A large area of skin, larger than the size of a mans hand was torn, leaving an open wound in addition to puncture wounds. We were at Manly Road Vet hospital within 12 minutes and he subsequently spent 5 hours being operated on. His recovery went well and he just carries a scar to remind us of that dreadful day. I cannot speak highly enough of the vets. True professionals. You were there when we needed you and did a great job. Total cost $5000+ Including brilliant after-care service.The other dog owner paid the bulk of the fees.

I would recommend this vet highly, I recently had to rush my 13 year old Staffie to the vet at 10.30pm on a public holiday. She was in distress and not well. Unfortunately my best friend passed away (unexpectedly) whilst having an XRay done. The vets nurse, in particular was very kind and understanding seeing a grown 46 year old man sobbing and left me alone to spend some time with my pup. Thank you. I also greatly appreciated the care in handling the cremation process through a recommended company. I also appreciated the condolence card and surprisingly and greatly appreciated - they did not charge me. Your compassion and care was fantastic. I will be returning with my new fur friend in the near future.

I love love love this vet. They saved my dog at 3am. The emergency vet and nurse were so kind and the staff the next day were amazing. Will never go anywhere else. They are very busy but thats because they are the best. Thank you so much.

The service is very impersonal and the feeling I have got is that practice is focused on money first and the health of the animals second. The staff at the front counter can be very blunt and rude. I had an appointment booked for a specific time and had to wait 30mins to be seen. This has reoccurred on multiple occasions. The vets seem reluctant to provide options and seem to want to opt for surgery or invasive treatments more often than not.

The vets on staff are usually very friendly but their reception area could do with a bit more organization (especially on the weekend as waiting 15 mins for someone to come and see you just to ask what time your appointment is and the name of your animal is unacceptable). I find their prices are on par with other vets but obviously if you go there after hours then be prepared to pay big bucks. I had to put 3 cats down in under 2 years and then attended to all of these animals with dignity and respect.

Awesome! so helpful and kind and explained things to us in our language, simply. cured my dog and cockateil, and did everything possible for them. Always there to answer questions, day or night.

Many times my family have come across injured birds and animals or stray dogs. The vet hospital have always willingly taken the animals to look after and find new homes. They never charge anything which I think is absolutely fantastic. They are also wonderful whenever we take our animals there for any treatments or problems.
