Visited this outdoor swimming centre for the first time today. A very nice setup with a large pool warmed to 27 degrees, a smaller pool for mid size children and a baby's wading pool. This centre is set in lawned parks and has bbq's, change rooms etc. There are plenty of trees and cloth shaded areas for very hot days. The staff are very friendly and concession holders pay 5 dollars and there are a variety of passes available for those who wish to attend regularly. A lovely place to have a relaxing time and a little exercise.

We love this pool - the outdoors is so much nicer than indoor pools. The waterslide passes are good value for money too - great fun, especially for the kids!

My kids and I love this place. It is so reasonable so we can come here regularly. The kids pools are great. Lap swimming is great too

Relatively cheap entertainment for the kids.
Quite clean and pleasant. Possibly not enough sitting space around the kiddy pools.

This is a great swimming place for the whole family. The 3 different sized pools accommodate all age groups and there is shade and picnic tables, or you can lay on the grass. The waterslide is good value for money, as are the prices in the kiosk. There is plenty of parking and room for families to spread out inside without being crowded.

Approximate cost: $4

It was a good experience, had a pleasurable time, it was nice weather and was able to relax with friends, it wasn't to busy either, kiosk to buy food and refreshments.

Approximate cost: $10-20

I took my children (5 years and 2 years) to the Marion pool to check it out. It was great for kids this age. There was a toddler pool with a fountain, which is quite shallow, then a larger pool, which at the deepest end is up to my 5 year old's neck and the lap pool (we didnt' go in this one). They also have some play equiptment and a water slide (you need to pay for the slides). The pools are covered by shade cloth, so even in the heat of the day you are protected from the sun. A great family outing.

swimming outside in the sun is amazing. need to time it right otherwise there are too many lap swimmers or children in the way. when you have to lane to yourself and its nice weather, it is amazing. facilities are good enough. price is comparable.
