Being a young mom, I know nothing much about kids. This hotline is 24/7 and the nurses were very nice and provided great information. A good calling point to check with them before heading down to hospitals!

Highly recommend. I have rang this number many times for my son. Being a new mum, and not being sure on several occasions on how to go about things, the ladies on the other end have been fantastic. They are also open 24 hours, which is fantastic. Well worth the phone call

Great service. Great for peace of mind when you have concerns for your child. Workers are always so lovely, yes the wait can be long but they care about you and your concerns.

Great little service,this is great if your a new parent and ever in need of knowing something you are unsure on with your child. They are a great help,very thorough and put you on to the right information u may need,great service for parents having trouble with their little ones sleeping also,they will get someone to come out and help u out , they are just a great MUST HAVE service!

Iv used this line before when I was In need of questions to be answered and found they were very helpfull polite and pointed me in the right detection with the right information. This is a very helpfull buisness and I highly recommend it for mummy's

I've had a few late night calls to them. Full of knowledge. The staff put your mind at ease. Great in the middle of the night. Nothing worse when you have a little bubs who needs help, but more to the point, mum needs help.

Very highly reccomended this one!!! Can save a trip to the doctor or hospital. Staff are very helpful and know what there talking about. They offer helpful advice. All staff are registed nurses so they know what there talking about.

this is an excellent service i recommend to any parent. new or not new. there are excellent with help and advice, very understanding people. will not rush you and you will find that you always hang up feeling like you did the right thing!

fantastic service available for everyone. it does save an un-necessary trip to the doctor everytime one of my kids has a symptom that can easily be cured at home or by popping down to the chemist. they're registered nurses so they've seen it all before & can quite easily help you diagnose problems over the phone

It's so reassuring to be able to call upon this free helpline at any hour when I'm having concerns about my baby. I have always received useful advice from the Maternal and Child Health Care Line.

My baby kept vomiting last time after drinking formula. While I am by myself I don't know who to ask. Called the service and the nurse was very helpful. Problem solved after getting advice.

Great idea, and I have called them on a number of occasions, but I've found that the answer I get each time is, go see a doctor. Well, if I could do that easily I probably wouldn't be on the phone, would I!

Excellent service for those night time worries when you are not sure if a trip to the hospital is necessary.... Very comforting for first time mothers for that advice and reassurance. Can be a bit of a wait sometimes though but well worth it!!

As a first time parent you dont know all the answers and this service safes 1000 doctors visits. They ask all the right questions providing you with logical answers, sometimes i was in a panic about nothing but they dont judge they just help you along. Highly recommend that this number is giving to new parents it helped me alot

I have rung this line 3 times and each time have been told the same thing. We cannot advise you on this problem you will need to see a GP or go to the emergency room. As each time i have called its been out of business hours I found that its a waste of my time and I should have just gone into hospital!

I find it difficult to get through to this service. Often the phone is engaged or hangs-up. Other times I have had to wait 20mins for my call to be answered.

I have been involved with this service off and on for 15 years. I have 4 children and have used this service with all 4 children. I find they can give really good advice at times that works.

good. i was happy to be able to call someone and get reassurance3 and advise from someone i knew they knew what they were talking about. so instead of calling a friend, or having to leave the house and wait for a doctors appointment. i could phone and get advise i felt happy with. sometimes i would be on hold too long though.

thay are specialised and good in taking care of maternal babies they give them the best things a maternal baby requires to survive and they have good experienced staffs to respond to mothers.
