My dog is super special to me. She is not my dog, she is my third child! Rob, Tara and the team at McDowall vets not only live up to my expectations, they absolutely exceed them! Thankyou all for your excellent care of Daisy, and your care and understanding of me.

From the moment we walk in the door, we are always met with a warm welcome and pats, cuddles and treats for Daisy, it's no wonder she loves coming to the vet. Thankyou also for making an appointment available for Daisy straight away after my call yesterday afternoon, this was very much appreciated and alleviated my concerns for Daisy. I am hoping that she will be back to her cheeky/crazy self soon.

After loosing my best friend Molly last year, I never thought I would be able to love another dog as much as her. The thought of anything happening to Daisy or her been unwell, makes me very worried and stressed. Thankyou for your patience with me, and explaining everything so clearly about Daisy's treatment.

I wouldn't trust Daisy's care to anyone else.

We have taken our 2 dogs and 1 cat to see Dr Lauren and she has been nothing short of fantastic.

I'm a foster carer for a rescue group so I've been to my fair share of vets across Brisbane, and Dr Lauren has been the most knowledgeable and honest vet I have seen. Dr Lauren always took time to explain treatment options with us and seemed to genuinely care for our pets. We never felt rushed or pressured into making a decision. I thank her and your team for taking such great care of our pets.

You couldn't wish for a better team of people to look after your pets from the vets, who definitely know their stuff, through to the support staff who are always welcoming and helpful. Everyone is interested and show that they enjoy their jobs. We are grey nomads now, previously from Everton Hills, with two travelling Chihuahuas and even now McDowall Vets are continuing their great service to us by being available on the phone and communicating with other vets around the country, as necessary, for our aging dogs. Denzel, who has recently recovered from Leukemia and Connie, who lives with a heart condition, are thoroughly enjoying nomadic life around Australia thanks to the staff at McDowall Vets. Our sincere thanks to all of you.

I had to have my beautiful cat Misty euthanized last week and I cant express how grateful I was to the staff at this wonderful practice. I had my Misty with me for 23 years and he was my best friend so I was a mess to say the least but their kind words helped me so much. I had not been to this practice before so I was not 100% sure but I will be going there forever more. They asked me if I would like to hold Misty while he went to sleep and I am so glad that I did just knowing I was with him until he was asleep. They even sent me a card of sympathy which was so thoughtful. The practice is so clean and fresh and even their fees were very reasonable. Thank you so much for everything.

My girl is a rescue dog, who is almost 10. She is more than precious to me, so I was devastated when her usual vet practice closed down. We used another vet but didn't feel particularly welcomed. Then I decided to take Opal to McDowall Vet surgery for her vaccinations. I knew I had found the right place when we walked through the door. The vet nurse was so welcoming and treated Opal to lots of pats and genuine interest. All the staff were great and the pricing was competitive. I am more than happy with the advice and professionalism that goes along with this friendly practice.

I am actually so confident with my two dogs wings and Harley as they are doing so much better since they started going here so proud

We had the unfortunate decision to put down our 17 y.o. dog - we've been attending the practice with both our dogs since we moved to McDowall in late 2006. After a discussion with our children, we opted to have it done at home. Our vet Jennifer and her vet nurse Emma were happy to come to our house and were fantastic. They explained the process and whilst sad, it was much better than we expected.

I cannot praise highly enough the professionalism and care that has been shown to our dog Sandy. I will go out of my way to bring my animals to this practice. Caring, friendly staff that go the extra mile.

Hello to a team that is beyond words.
Today I had the dreaded task of picking up my Lizzie's ashes. Driving to you I was imagining all the things I was going to say to you all but upon seeing the bag with her in, words escaped me.
I wanted to say thank you. Not just for the end, but for being there for Lizzie and I through all her ailments and concerns. Thank you for putting hers and my heart before revenue and caring about us above all. Lizzie and I had 16 years together and travelled locally, interstate and internationally. Having been to many vets over her life, I can only recommend the care and passion you all have displayed. You ALL genuinely care and that, I cherish. I cherish knowing I said good bye to my best friend knowing she was loved to the end by you all too.
Sorry I didn't get to say this today but I wanted you to know that ur team is second to none. Thank you doesn't seem enough.

The team at McDowall Veterinary Practice are the most professional & caring group of people I have had the pleasure to meet. Over recent weeks we have had a daily encounter with them to care for our cat, Taz. Whilst the outcome has not been what we were all striving for our family has come to know everyone at the practice and seen firsthand how much they care and want a successful outcome. Josh is an extremely professional, caring and knowledgeable vet and our family cannot thank him enough for his work.

The most wonderful vet practise that you can imagine Rob, lauren and all the lovely girls that work there make you feel so at ease. Bruce and I would highly recommend this lovely vet practise and we will be taking all our pets here for a long time to come.

My dogs are much loved family members and so I want the best care for them. Maddy & Toby are 12 now and both love a visit to the vet which is more frequent than we would wish due to Maddys ability to become ill with challenging conditions and critical situations. Tara looks after my two and she is everything and more would ask for in a vet. Tara is gentle kind compassionate caring and knowledgeable and is always prepared to go the extra mile. Rob sets the tone for the practice and it is truly excellent. I could go on for hours about his caring and many kindnesses. Lets not forget the staff who are absolutely wonderful and who deserve so much praise. My dogs have been going to this practice for many years. Dr Rob has been looking after our Molly (14.5) for the last 12 months. We cannot fault the patient care he and all the staff have and are continuing to provide our little senior citizen through her health issues. It is very clear to us that her well being is of the most importance to Rob.

She takes her visits in her stride and is quite relaxed as all the staff take the time to greet her.

Not only does Rob look after Molly, he treats us with the utmost respect and fully understands Molly is like our third child. We are facing a worrying time going forward and we are so grateful we have Rob to guide us through. Our only regret is that we did not find Rob and his practice sooner.

We particularly look forward to reading about the pet of the day on Facebook and would recommend Rob and his team to anyone who has a fury child.

This practice is one that I would highly recommend and are lucky to have come across them. Rob, Tara and the team down there have been a great help when we had one very very sick baby BamBam! they not only look after your babies they help us fur parents! I will never use another clinic again after now finding you!!

My darling little puppy Harvey 6 months old was rushed to the vet last week in shock. We didn't know what was wrong with him.
Rob checked him over and advised us that Harvey was in Cardiac arrest. We all thought he wouldn't survive. Rob said he would look after him and be in contact as soon as he had any news. We thought we would loose Harvey …. which was made even more painful to accept as he was only a puppy. Within two hours Rob called us and after a few tests discovered that Harvey had a twisted stomach and would be fine if he got through the next 24 hours. The care and attention they gave our little fella was unbelievable. They kept us updated with his progress and my broken heart was gradually put back together piece by piece.
Rob ,Tara and their team were honest, professional , caring and understanding . I'm so happy I chose this practice for my three pets and I highly recommend them to all pet owners. AMAZING staff….. Thank you all

My dog is seen here, and overall the experience is pretty good. The staff are friendly, the premises are clean, and the advice is not too over the top. (i.e they don't tend to flog you too much extra stuff).

Last week, my beautiful little dog Pippi lost her fight with kidney disease . During the past 6 months Dr Rob and Dr Tara were positive and extremely caring with helping Pippi through some tough times . Pippi won everybody over with her beautiful eyes and the staff at McDowall Vet gave her so much attention that I felt comfortable knowing Pippi was being well looked after during her overnight and day stays while she was having treatments. I am extremely grateful to all the staff for their genuine care for Pippi and also the after care given to myself and my family. The care given by McDowall Vet Practice not only looks after our pets but extends to the family. I highly recommend these beautiful people to take care of your pets.

Rob and his team are simply the best. We have a Maltese X Cocker Spaniel Rani, and Rob and his team are always gentle, loving and caring, so blessed to have a team that is so compassionate especially when something goes wrong with our princess.We highly recommend this practice, quality service and an amazing staff!

Recently our puppy had a paralysis tick. We took her to McDowall vets. The vets and nurses have her the best care possible. They really care about their animals and because of their expert care, our puppy has returned home, happy and healthy. Thanks you so much to everyone at McDowall Veterinary Practice!! Rob and the girls at McDowall Vet Practice really step outside the square. They all made such a fuss over our baby today - we were in for 16 week injections and all of the girls gave Rowdy a cuddle and play and were interested in our story. Not to mention, the professionalism inside the vet room when he had his check up and routine injections. Some very helpful advice was offered in terms of diet and obedience, also. Thanks again Rob. You came highly recommended by several friends and, after a very sad and negative experience at our previous vet, this is a great change.

We have been bringing our beloved pets to McDowall Veterinary Practice since 2006 and would not go anywhere else. The compassion, professionalism and genuine love of animals is evident from the minute you walk through the door. Thank you Dr Rob for helping us recently with the difficult decision to let our beautiful dog Simba pass only two weeks after our gentle giant Indy decided for himself that his time was up. Two gorgeous Ridgebacks that received the best care and attention that any pet owner could want. We now have a 3rd Ridgeback as a new member to the family and he has already made new friends at McDowall Veterinary Practice. Thanks to the whole team.
