The food of Melba Restaurant is so yummy. I am sure they have got the best team of the chef who has magic in their hands. This is one of my favorite food places. I love to go there and taste different food. The ambiance is also cool. I strongly recommend this restaurant to everyone.

One of the best interior designs I have seen. Top quality food, nice range and reasonable prices. Very classy.

Lively riverfront eatery for inventive buffet dishes. Huge variety of cuisines, naan bread, Sashimi, oysters, Peking duck, endless cheese and dessert.. Great Food, relaxed atmosphere and fantastic service.

Literally the best all you can eat restaurant in Melbourne! Period!

We have tried many places and none come close to here. Yes it is more expensive than your ones in the suburbs, but the quality of the food is amazing.

Great if you are gluten free as well as everything is labeled and the chef will walk around with you as well and go through each dish.

They make you feel very special.

One of my favorite restaurants of all time.

Approximate cost: $89

Oh My Gosh, food overload... We had dinner at the buffet and the food was magnificent, what to choose was the hard part... Sushi, prawns, oysters, crab, roasts, indian, asian, the list is endless.. It was super fresh, the sushi bar made what you liked while you waited... Then there was dessert... The views over the yarra is lovely in the evening...

Approximate cost: $99

Buffet and at The Langham! What is not to love about that sentence! Hahaha! The setting is obviously utterly resplendent an opulent and matched with quality service. Sushi station was delicious but the highlight was the desserts by far. Cute mini little cakes smothered in Belgium chocolate and jellys. Oh and the chocolate fountain!

We visited Melba for lunch on a weekday. A friend highly recommended this place where he had dined with his two kids. The interior is nice and elegant, the service is fantastic, ethnic food stations have very authentic feel, however the food variety was disappointing. Very limited choice of seafood (literally 4 types only), very few Indian curries, only 2 Chinese stir-fries, etc. For a buffet style place with $$$$ price we expected more. Japanese sushi, miso soup and sashimi were nice though. Judging by the good reviews and the fact the restaurant was busy at the time I suppose that we simply might have been unlucky on that particular day. But that was our experience. Will probably not go again.

This restaurant is situated a few levels up in the Langham Hotel

Melba is truly a beautiful, elegant restaurant serving a delicious buffet with meals to suit all tastes. Cooking stations have been set up with chefs on hand to prepare pasta, asian noodles, sushi, Indian curries, roast meat carveries.

If thats not enough to satisfy your tastebuds there is fresh seafood (including prawns, crab and mussels), antipasto section with gourmet cold cut meats, grilled vegetables, salads, soup.

If you still feel like something more to satisfy your sweet tooth there are desserts!!! A lovely range of miniature cups containing delicately prepared cakes, mousses, ice cream and chocolate fountain.

yes its very pricey ranging from $55 for weekday lunch to weekend dinners at $79.90, but worth the experience of fine dining.

if you have an Entertainment Book card, be sure to present when paying as you receive 25% discount to maximum amount of $45.

I have found the meals to be delicious and fresh - as one would expect from a fine establishment.

I compliment the chefs at the respective stations who were very polite, friendly and eager to make you something.

However 2 stars I had to give to the wait staff of the restaurant as I felt that our waiter did not even come often to offer us drinks or at least water. Oh well nevermind, maybe they were busy, I am giving them the benefit of the doubt.

The staff at the cashier was very friendly, asked if I enjoyed our meals, so that was very polite.

Yes I would recommend this restaurant for something elegant and not your ordinary buffet - but rather dine dining buffet meal!

Approximate cost: $55 to 79.90 per person - prices vary according to day and time of seating

I love buffet places, and this is sophisticated and classy! It's in the beautiful Langham hotel overlooking the river. They serve great quality food from Seafood to Indian to Asian etc and there is always a chef at the station ready to cook for you :)
The desserts are amazing also!! And they have a chocolate fondue.
Definitely recommend coming here and spoiling yourself!
