I have now purchased two vehicles from Melbourne Auto Co and both times the experience was outstanding. I particulalrly appreciate the knowledge of the boss there, Mario and his willingness to spend time sharing that knowledge. The first car had a couple of small issues that were delt with promptly under warranty and after exhaustive research when purchasing both cars the price vs the condition, extras, kilometres and age compelled me to purchase from Mario rather than a bigger yard that seemed to just treat me like another number.

I test drove a car of theirs. I didn't buy it as it was just a little too old for what I was after. But I did get a fine in the mail a month later from Victoria Police saying Melbourne Automobile Company had nominated me as the driver for an infringement. What was the infringement? Driving an unregistered vehicle! This car yard were the only ones who could've known that. I would NEVER have driven an unregistered car if I'd known that was it's status.
I challenged the fine and sent it back, and Melbourne Automobile Company have now done the same thing.
These people are incredibly 'dodgey' and I wouldn't buy a pen from them!!!!

Emailed them regarding a vehicle that they've posted up on carsales.com.au, they called back the next morning at 9am to arrange an inspection of the vehicle, and actually remembered my name when I turned up! They had the car waiting out front, and the test drive was as good as expect. Service was great, Sasha was fantastic! Everything went fast, easy and smooth. He answered all my questions regarding the vehicle and provided me with recommendations for a good garage. I would definitely consider buying another vehicle from them again!
