I like Members Equity bank as you know you are not dealing with any of the big banks that just like to slug customers with lots of fees. ME accounts are easy to open and maintain via the internet and they have really good customer service over the phone should you need it. I don't have any local branches nearby but that has never proven to be a problem with this bank.

I have been a ME customer for many years and I can not say a bad word about them. I have had a mortgage, credit card and still have a transaction and savings account. They continually offer high quality service and excellent rates for savings and a transaction accounts that meets my needs.

Have been with them for almost 1o years now. No monthly fee, no redraw fee. Very good, very fair products. Customer service is great, too, never have to wait long to speak to someone in their Australian call centre. Have just purchased a new property with a short settlement time and they've worked hard to make everything go smoothly. Interest rates are very good.

Members Equity bank are exceptional. I have now had 3 home loans with them over a 8 year period. Throughout this time, i have never once has any problems. Their rates are great. (Discounted if a member of a superfund) Their mobile lenders are always well versed in the products they sell and recommend the right product for your circumstances. They can also tell you whether you will be likely to get the loan on the spot. Their phone line is always answered promptly and you get a personal mortgage manager with a direct phone number. OVerall I can speak highly enough of members equity. I will always use them and have recommended them to a number of friends fed up with the big 4.
